DO NOT STAY HERE!!! (Preview: reports of bedbugs, pest issues, zero privacy, and some of the most hostile, the most absurd management I’ve ever dealt with.) This was my personal experience. My biggest issue was how they handled a simple package delivery. Before checkout, I specifically asked the front desk if it would be okay that my package was arriving late. They told me it was fine. No mention of any fee, no policy, nothing in writing anywhere. Then when I came back to pick it up (less than an hour after it had been delivered and already brought inside), I was suddenly told there’s a $15 fee for receiving packages after checkout. Again, this was never disclosed anywhere. Not verbally, not in their rules, and not in any emails I received. From there it turned into what felt like a very strange power trip. I was told the front desk attendant wasn't "on shift" even though they had clearly already handled the package. I was then told multiple times to come back the next day at 10 AM to get something that was already sitting inside. No flexibility, no logic, just repeated refusal. Check in was easy, bed was comfy and it and the living spaces were nice and clean, did get a vibe that some local people were staying there long term though, its a hostel not a homeless shelter, maybe add a new policy against this?

Stayed here with my partner for 5 days. Great experience. The information we got via email was clear, they even had clear directions on how to get there. We were left with zero doubts of what it meant to stay at this podshare. We planned a low low budget vacation and felt like this was excellent value. The place was clean, quiet, and close to public transportation stops. It was toasty when we arrived but nothing oppresive. The fan we had was more than adequate. Only reason I'm giving it a 3 start its because one there were german cacaroaches. I though that was weird because the place was very clean. I do understand those are hard to get rid of.

The place is the perfect place to relax after walking around San Diego. The place is extremely clean and has extremely comfortable beds and a cozy living room and kitchen setup. The place is quiet and allows you to sit in bed and work on your laptop or go into the lounge area for some TV time. You won’t regret staying here, its location is fantastic as well. - white truck guy
