My experience with Coastline Academy was well worth the money! As an adult who has not driven in over two years because of multiple surgeries, I hired Coastline for a refresher course to evaluate my driving skills to include my ability to perform an emergency stop. My driving instructor, Freddie, was professional, skilled, and friendly. I thank him for giving me confidence and especially showing me how to position my still-swollen ankle and foot on the pedals. I had a great experience with my driving instructor Regis. He was very patient, calm, and clear when explaining what to look out for while driving. He paid close attention to everything I was doing and provided helpful guidance throughout the lesson. I especially appreciated that he used the instructor-side emergency brake when needed, which helped me feel safe and less nervous about making mistakes. His professionalism and support gave me more confidence behind the wheel and helped me feel prepared for my driving test. I highly recommend him to anyone learning to drive.

Great instructors! I put off learning how to drive until a couple months before my permit expired, but I successfully passed my road test! I came in with very little experience and a lot of anxiety around driving, but I feel a lot more comfortable driving now :) I had three instructors (Scott, Chris, Regis), and all were great for getting a well-rounded driving experience. Chris really helped me with getting more comfortable driving in different areas of LA and also being more comfortable with driving faster. Regis was helpful in practicing for the road test and had useful tips and tricks. Super shoutout to Scott, who I had for most of my lessons. I don’t think I would’ve been able to get my license in such a short time span without his help! He was incredibly supportive and provided great instruction for both the road test and driving in general. I highly recommend learning with Scott if you’re super new to driving and/or anxious about driving!

Larry P. was a terrific instructor. He is calm and confident and experienced. He is a kind person and very approachable. I am a 50 year experienced driver and yet Larry was still able to teach me some valuable tips to add to my repertoire. I would highly recommend Larry as an instructor for any and all ages. He is not intimidating in any sense of the word. His casual considerate professional manner goes a long way to making the student feel appreciative of the lesson. Thank you Larry.

As someone with no prior driving experience I found my lesson with hector to be incredibly helpful and educational. I got into the car feeling very nervous having never driven in the road before but by the end of my first lesson felt much more confident. My instructor hector was very calm and positive the entire time giving me great feedback on what to improve and what I was doing well. Overall I felt great with the instructor that I had and will definitely book more lessons with these guys moving forward
