Getting around Fresno is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This park would be a nice place it has big open grass fields, the zoo, playgrounds, tennis courts, duck ponds, and a dog park. BUT every bit of it except for inside the zoo and just in front of it, is being lived and trashed by people. Every 10 feet there's someone camped up, trash piled, dogs unleashed or in cages, or someone living out of their car. It feels very unsafe here. The cherry on top? You have to pay to park or will get a ticket otherwise. No one should have to pay to use this park with the conditions they have let it go to. Bring back our parks, we pay taxes for this bs.

Awesome place for a date or even to spend time with the family. Shade everywhere. Nice little path of olive trees, makes for an awesome spot for photos. Lots of events happen here aswell. Overall love it. So much space to run around. I see alot if people play golf here along with other sports. Would definetly recommend.

The family and I came on a very hot π₯ day It was Fresno no surprise but it's a great zoo for kids. My sons loved it I don't mind spending at zoos because it helps the animals here and live in peace. Not as big as LA or San Diego zoos but they still have plenty for the kids to enjoy.

Visited Fresno Chaffee Zoo in Roeding Park on a very hot day in early July 2024. Since it was hot during my visit, the animals were not very active. They relaxed in shaded areas in their habitats to stay cool. Very large animal habitats. The savanna habitat was my favorite. Overall, a good zoo experience.
