First time here. Fast service, polite and when food was brought to table. Asked if I wanted spicy sauce, which I recommend. Burger was great! You could taste the meat was juicy but the edges were a little fried from being smashed on the grill. I had loaded tater tots, which the sp8cy sauce was great on.

Only place in town that I know of that uses beef tallow to fry their foods, BIG reason I came here. Every ingredient that I could see is top quality and the taste shows it. The smash burger is incredibly flavorful, buttery and rich, using a Wagyu ground beef mix. The breakfast sandwich is the best in town, fills me up all day. The onion rings, fries, loaded tots are wicked good. When you've had fresh fried onion rings/fries in beef tallow, you'll understand why it's so much better than any other oil. I've been back to this place every weekend since I found it, going on 4 weeks, don't plan on stopping. The manager and all the workers were extremely kind and welcoming. Easily takes the top spot for me as best smash burger in town.

Easily one of the best burgers in SJ On the pricey side since it's supposedly wagyu beef burgers although it didn't really taste like wagyu beef. Just really well seasoned burgers cooked and seasoned perfectly. The sweet potato bun really made a difference. Being at the heart of downtown parking can be a bit annoying but it's worth trying atleast once. Their fried cooked in beef tallow also makes me just love this place. Chili cheese fries were excellent. Nothing but pure burger and fries heaven

Super shocked to login and see this wonderful smashburger restaurant siting at a 4.7 rating on google reviews. Ignore the front page news and take the current news. This is a perfect 5 Star restaurant, no doubt about. If it is your first time here, the cashier will help narrow down your order. If it is your second or third time here, please take use of their ordering technologies such online, doordash or the digital console, and if it is your third time or fourth time back, you have realized what San Jose has been missing for all these year. GM Ricky has the hospitality of a Michelin Star restaurant, and it reflects in his kitchen staff and front of the house staff. Also, there great selection of beers at great prices and the handspun milkshakes are the some the best in the bay area.

My husband and I loved it. We ordered the jalapeno double burger combo. I was expecting pickled jalapenos, but these were fresh. I liked that the bun was smaller than the meat, less bun more flavorful meat with crispy edges. The staff was great very attenitive for fast food. I can't wait to go back to try something different, maybe not, because this burger was delicious. Oh, the fries were seasoned, which was a plus and they gave me ranch dressing that I didn't have to ask for
