🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I cannot recommend this veterinary clinic highly enough! Since 2018, I've entrusted my beloved animals to their care, and I couldn't be more grateful. The lovely ladies and Dr. Lisa provide exceptional care that truly feels like home. The amount of love and attention they give is AMAZING! They have helped us navigate tough situations, like when our first Corso ate 143 rocks and required emergency surgery. Their guidance with diet and care has been invaluable. Our second Corso has allergies, and they have been so attentive to his needs with so much attention you wouldn’t get this care anywhere else! Plus, when our cat needed staples twice due to injuries, they handled it all with professionalism and compassion. Everything that was suggested, from patience and following care instructions to dosages of standard process, yummy homemade treats has proven truthful and has genuinely helped my pets. Their holistic approach, coupled with exceptional practices and a focus on diet, sets them apart as a small business that truly cares for its furry patients. Thank you for all that you do for our animals πŸ’•πŸ«ΆπŸ½βœ¨πŸ’–

We had been struggling with dog allergies for a few years now and SSD Vet Hospital has helped immensely. I was skeptical about trying a new vet at first but even at 6 months later the progress was clear. Now, 1 year later my dog is healthier and happier than ever. In 2021, my then 6-year-old lab mix started excessively licking her paws to the point of hair loss, bleeding, and skin infections. I was spending so much money on apoquel, antibiotics, tests, check ups, and other stuff that was messing with her stomach. I could not leave her alone or she'd start licking on the couch or bed leaving lick spots everywhere. We thought it was environmental allergy as it all started as soon as we moved to new apartments with lots of greenery. Other vets didn't care too much about the source and wanted to mask the symptoms. We even tried apoquel and citopoint injections together to reduce itchiness but nothing worked until we went to South SD Vet Hospital and considered a homeopathic approach. They're all so nice and always answer my questions. They have saved me thousands of dollars in unecessary medication and can clearly tell my dog is much happier and excited for the meals I make her. My Lucy had torn a toenail almost completely off and because it was bleeding it concerned me that it could get infected. They took her in and took care of her. I didn’t have to wait hours to find out what needed to be done as with other emergency veterinary hospitals. It was evening just before dark. An hour later she was ready to go home with me. I love the sweet sincerity of the Doctor and the staff

A year ago my 10 year old yorkie fell of my bed and hurt his back. Since that day he couldn’t walk as he used to. We tried cold laser therapy in a different place but didn’t see much difference after a while. That’s how I decided to try acupunture on him. I did some research and found South San Diego Veterinary Hospital. I cannot thank enough Dr. McAndrew. She’s very knowledgeable, has years of experience and you can see that animals are her passion. She evaluated him, recommended me two supplements and did his acupuncture. After only a week of session, my sweet boy is walking so much better! It’s been amazing. Everybody is so caring and nice. We couldn’t be happier. Thank you!!
