I kid you not there is an employee at star towing by the name of Carlos that is a miracle man. I have triple-a however the 5 tow trucks that they sent out today failed at towing my vehicle into my parking spot. Almost 12 hours later I end up calling star towing and Carlos comes out and finishes the job that no one else could do all day long he finishes it in less than 20 minutes. I love this company and I love Carlos he was amazing.

I had a really great experience with Star Towing, especially during a difficult time for me. I ended up buying a car from them, and they made the whole process smooth and stress-free from start to finish. They were honest, patient, and took the time to answer all my questions without making me feel rushed or pressured. You can tell they actually care about helping people, not just making a sale. The car I got was in good condition, and they made sure I felt comfortable and confident with my purchase. What really stood out was how understanding and supportive they were while I was going through a tough situation. That kind of customer service is hard to find. I’m really grateful for their help and would definitely recommend Star Towing to anyone looking for a reliable car and good people to work with.

This place is a straight up scam not only do they have some lazy rude woman answering the phone but they charged me a whole day of storage for only having my car for 15 minutes. Not to mention told us we couldn’t get our stuff out of our car because we weren’t last registered owner but yet sent us the lien sale paperwork. Doesn’t make any sense they would legally I would think have to send that paperwork to the last registered owner which they know who that is but yet they sent it to us. Now if that isn’t enough proof to get our belongings than I don’t know what is. I know all tow company’s are garbage but this one takes the cake.

I'd leave zero stars if I could for "Star" Towing. My son parked my car in a place near Belmont Park on a Saturday night, it was towed by Star Towing to their yard. I went to pick it up the next day, which would be LESS than even 1 day, but they consider it one day even if they were to tow the car at 11:59PM, as midnite is the cut off point. So they considered that TWO days of storage, including an additional gate fee because it's the weekend even though they are open 24 hours and someone is always there. It's not like they had to make a special trip to open the gate. So, basically for less than a day, I was charged $486.45, even though the law states that they cannot charge more than the City of San Diego charges to tow vehicles. SDPD towing fees are $178 for a car of my type, and $41 a day for storage, which even if there were additional charges for being the weekend, would still make it FAR less than I was gouged by this company. Clearly this is a rip off and there's little you can do as they hold your car hostage, except to pay the fees they ask, and then take them to small claims and/or write a bad review. The time and energy to try to recover their overcharge makes the latter

These guys are the worst tow company around they towed my car and stole about $600 dollars of tool and on top of that they price gouged the hell out of me they wanted $500 buck to tow a carc 2 miles and the he she at the front desk is rude and super disrespectful I highly recommend you do not use there thrives to tow any of your cars and they also left a huge scratch down the side of my truck there earring speaks for it self I would be zero stars if it could be. I wish this company the worst in the future they earned it. Star towing you suck.
