This is a follow-up to my previous review from June 19. After posting my initial review, the business responded and asked me to reach out, so I did. I emailed customer service and received a reply from Elizabeth Solis on July 8, asking which location I had visited. I provided the Miramar (Miramar Pl & Miramar Rd) location the next day. On July 14, she informed me she would follow up with the district manager. Since then — nearly three weeks — I have received zero communication. No follow-up, no update, no resolution. I even sent another email checking in, and still nothing. On the surface, it looked like they were taking customer feedback seriously. In reality, nothing happened. The responses felt like they were going through the motions of "handling" a complaint without any intention of actually resolving it. I shared an honest review hoping it would lead to improvement. Instead, it led to a chain of empty promises and silence. I'm sharing this follow-up so others know what to expect if they ever need to raise an issue here. Disappointing experience, both at the car wash and with customer service after the fact.

I like coming to Super Star Car Wash, but one thing that really bothered me as a customer was seeing the attendants standing outside in the extreme heat for long periods of time. It made me wonder if they have access to air conditioning or regular opportunities to cool down. I understand it’s an outdoor job, but I hope the company is making sure their employees have enough shade, water, and breaks to stay safe in the hot weather. Taking care of employees is just as important as taking care of customers.

Not a bad car wash overall, but their customer service left a lot to be desired. If your vehicle is in the shop and you’re driving a rental that you’d like to wash before returning it, they’ll charge you for a separate wash even if you’re already a paying member. I explained that I hadn’t used my membership in weeks because my own car was being repaired and simply asked if they could make a one-time exception for the rental. Instead of trying to help, I was told the manager was in a meeting, and that was the end of the conversation. What disappointed me most wasn’t being told “no” it was the complete lack of effort or understanding. The attendant didn’t seem interested in helping or finding a solution. A small gesture of customer service would have gone a long way for a loyal member.

I’ve been a Soapy Joe’s customer for over 2 years with another vehicle and typically bring this car in about once a month. During my most recent visit, I went through the wash and it ended up breaking the cap on my side mirror. After waiting more than 10 business days, I was told they would not take responsibility and that it was my fault for not folding in the mirrors. For context, this is a small vehicle a Volkswagen Golf not a wide truck or SUV. What’s most disappointing isn’t the damage itself, but the lack of accountability. Situations like this are an opportunity for a company to stand behind their service, and unfortunately that didn’t happen here. Because of this experience, I’ve decided to cancel my recurring membership for my other vehicle as well. I would recommend others be cautious with this location, especially when it comes to how claims are handled.

I washed my car few days ago. Unfortunately their machine didn't pick up tiny dirts on my black car. I had to spend quite some time to clean them myself. I was offered monthly unlimited wash for $20 for the first month and $25 after a month. I did purchase it. Similar car washes that I used to go have one or two people outside of the carwash and they dry the car for you and they would clean the missed spots. That was a big disappointment for me. The vacuum was ok. It didn't feel very strong. Loved the towels they have to clean the inside or outside. Hopefully my next visit will be better.
