My number 1 favorite Chinese restaurant was Schezwan Garden in Mt. View, I thought I'll never find any other restaurant that can make Chow Maine as good as that Chef made it, his Kung Pao Chicken was HEAVENLY, it's been over 20 years since he shut down and to this very day I've never had a Chow Maine, not even 0.0001% as GREAT as his and absolutely no one has ever come close to his Kung Pao Chicken and I've tried several Tens of Chinese restaurants. After 20+ years luckily I found Taiwan Restaurant and I finally had the best Chow Maine in 20+ years and I can't wait to go back to try their Kung Pao Chicken and I hope to God it'll be as great as the one I used to eat at Schezwan Garden over 20 years ago. I used to go there with my uncle and friends and we used to order 2 - 3 plates for EACH of us because we ate like Lions, besides the 2 kinds I've mentioned, they also had the best Mongolian Beef and shredded Pork & I remember each plate was only $4.50 those were the Good O'l Days. I can't wait to taste Taiwan Restaurant's Chicken and Beef and I'm praying they'll be as great as Schezwan Garden's.

The best Chinese food I’ve ever had. The chow mien noodles were out of this world. Large portions. Customer service was great not only to us but to everyone that walked in they made sure they were treated with high respect and care. Need to come back asap.

I went to this restaurant with a few of my friends to celebrate a birthday and honestly didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did. The service was one of the best parts, everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed happy to help without being overbearing. Our server checked in at the right times and made great recommendations. We ordered the pineapple fried rice, and it was easily my favorite dish of the night. It came out hot, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, with just the right mix of sweet pineapple and savory rice. The portion was generous too. The whole experience felt warm and welcoming, and I’ll definitely be coming back again soon.

I’ve been eating at Taiwan Chinese restaurant in Willow Glen for over 20 years. Since we are back in the Willow Glen area we decided to get take out as I can never say no to the honey walnut pawns. Our order consist of sweet-and-sour pork, pork fried rice, and honey walnut prawns with an individual serving of wonton soup. Sad to say I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the food this time around. The pork fried rice was crunchy and the wonton soup was absolutely disgusting. The broth was a heavy beef broth and not the nice light broth they usually have. The sweet-and-sour pork, of course is as basic Chinese food as you can get, and that was OK. The honey walnut prawns were good, not great. I feel we could have had better quality at Panda Express not to mention a whole lot cheaper on the wallet. 😩
