For a place to eat or drink, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open now, how long is the wait at peak hours, and does the menu suit the group you are bringing. American restaurants typically run lunch and dinner services with a quieter stretch in between, coffee shops open early, and many kitchens close earlier on Sunday. Cards and tap-to-pay are accepted almost everywhere, a tip of 15-20% is customary for table service, and sales tax is added at the register.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 10 am–10 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (858) 831-7835. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 346 reviews, which is a strong result for a burger in San Diego and suggests consistent service.

San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Diego is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

My partner and I came to try the food from a special happy hour special I saw on social media. Ordered salt and pepper wings, bbq tenders and Hashbrown rings. The tenders were decent but the wings were dry and didn't taste good. I gave her the rest of the tenders and ordered a burger and the patties in my opinion lacked flavor. The girl who took the order was very nice and explained the items very well. I did eat the majority of the burger because I paid for it but we ordered 6 wings and only ate 2. I do like the feel and ambiance of the restaurant just wish the food was better.

I really liked that this restaurant at first because it offers a kosher menu, it had Β a pleasant atmosphere and a good server and it's great to have that option available. However, I was disappointed with both the food and the prices. The kosher menu was significantly more expensive than the regular menu. For example, a regular hamburger cost $9.99, while the kosher version was $16.99. I understand that kosher ingredients can be more expensive, but the price difference felt too high. Unfortunately, the burgers lacked flavor, and the meat was bland. Overall, while I appreciate having a kosher burger option, I most likely would not come back.

I called ahead to ask about happy hour and was told they had specials on wings and beer. Unfortunately, nobody really explained what the actual happy hour specials were, which would have been helpful before making the drive. I was told the beer specials included Pacifico, Modelo, and Fall Brewing. Since Fall Brewing was the one I was interested in, I drove about 15 minutes hoping to have a few beers, watch the Colombia vs. Jordan soccer game, and try one of their burgers. When I arrived, I was told they were out of Fall Brewing. The employee didn’t seem very familiar with the beer selection or what was currently available. That was disappointing, especially after being told on the phone that they had it. A simple heads-up would have saved me the trip. It also would have been nice if they had offered a comparable beer at the happy hour price since the advertised option wasn’t available. The restaurant itself is clean and well-kept, but there wasn’t much atmosphere during my visit. I was the only customer dining in, and the place felt pretty lifeless. I ordered the: Joint Burger (single): came out to just under $10. I have to give credit where it’s due - the burger was actually

I paid $30 for a Cali burger and a Tres Leches milkshake. Both were tasty, but certainly not worth the cost. 15 for the burger and 10 for the shake. The pattys were pretty good, nice quality buns too. It's nice that all cooking and frying is done with avocado oil. The bacon was minimal, there were just a couple small slivers of avo in there, not much sauce and some parts were dry. Otherwise the meal was tasty and above average, but I won't return for that price.

This place is a true hidden gem! It's one of the best burgers I've had in a long time! The decor is super cute, with fun graphics all over the walls, a bar area for longer stopovers, and really well-made food with quality ingredients. If you're in the area and MUST experience, and if you're not, it's still worth making the trip. It's definitely off the beaten path, but it will be well worth the visit. My daughter and I stopped here by chance, and it was a wonderful surprise. 5 stars across the board.
