The scrambled "eggs" were good, the hash brown was acceptable. The pancake center was not fully cooked, and there is only molasses as a topping option. I've had better vegan bacon. I also ordered a wrap, TO GO. By the time I made it inside I notice the bag was wet. The wrap had sauce on it. The sauce should have been considered in the side being I ordered it TO GO. I couldn't even hold it it was so soggy, so ofc I can't eat it the wrap is ruined.

All I wanted was a vegan and gluten free waffle. But The Grain Cafe turned out to be so much more than that! The customer service was wonderful (I didn’t get our servers name but this was July 1st at 12pm) the music and atmosphere were excellent and the gluten free, vegan waffle was THE BEST I have ever had. Go frequent this restaurant and tip well, they are doing a great service to the area.

I’ve been to the Pico location of The Grain Cafe several times now and it continues to impress me every single visit. The team here is always incredibly kind and welcoming, and you can really feel the care that goes into the food. The Burger Deluxe is one of my absolute favorites. The patty made from beans, grains, and vegetables is flavorful and satisfying, and it’s stacked with avocado, tempeh bacon, mozzarella, pickles, tomato, and their special house sauce on a toasted sesame bun. Everything just works together perfectly. Another standout for me is their breakfast burrito. It’s hearty, comforting, and packed with flavor—one of those meals that keeps you full and happy for hours. What I love most about The Grain Cafe is that the food feels homemade, organic, and made with real intention. It’s the kind of place you can keep coming back to and always find something delicious. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking for great plant-based food in LA.

Leslie was our server and we had a great experience! Food was delicious, the homemade hot sauce was tasty and slow burning - Chilli Con Chorizo and some vegan Tres Leches to go 😍 Can’t wait to come back!
