About The SoLa Foundation

The SoLa I CAN Foundation (est. 2017), the 501(c)3 nonprofit affiliate of SoLa Impact, is built on a simple premise: If you can see it, you can be it. SoLa aims to improve the lives of South LA residents through access to educational, technological, and economic opportunities. We work towards uplifting underserved Black and Latinx communities by providing career development, technology education, financial literacy, college readiness and scholarships. To connect the South LA community with 21st century opportunities, SoLa I CAN is developing our Technology and Entrepreneurship Center.

This company will throw you anywhere! they don’t care if the property is roach or a rat infested. I couldn’t not keep up with the rent eventually I became homeless again. One of the case workers informed me if I could not pay $3500 for the studio I wouldn’t be able to receive assistance for 2 year! Horrible company !

SoLa Foundation has been the catalyst in allowing me to continue my education. To be a volunteer associated with a organization as such, greatly makes me feel that I'm reciprocating positivity, opportunity, and love back into my community.

@solaican @solaimpact have been helping a lot of students with school essential giveaways like laptops for south la students ..it brings hope to our community thru this pandemic which has affected our community ..❤️We are so grateful for you guys

Sola is a blessing because this program has given me the opportunity to get back in the field that I most desire to be in. Education is very important and learning a skill is very important. I’m thankful for the opportunity and for Moe who helped me get through the process. I’m Excited!!
