About Tranquil Tree Yoga

Tranquil Tree Yoga sits at 4428 Ingraham St in Pacific Beach, San Diego. You'll find us in a candlelit space that feels more like a sanctuary than a typical studio. We keep classes small. Six to ten people, tops. This means your instructor can actually help with your alignment, not just call out poses from the front of the room.

What we teach: Vinyasa (all levels), Restorative with crystal bowl sound healing, Yin for deep release, Power, Sculpt, and Beach Community Vinyasa right on the sand.

Each class ends with cold towels and Moroccan tea. Little touches, but they matter. Mehdi Khiati started this studio to blend traditional yoga with what people actually need today. Hands-on guidance. Room to breathe. A place that doesn't feel rushed.

I booked a private group session for a bachelorette party with Mehdi and it was a highlight of the weekend. Mehdi was great to communicate and coordinate with before the trip. We had a couple of pregnant women so he tailored the class for them. We loved the hands on corrections, music, ambiance, and sound bath/cold scented towels at the end. Couldn't recommend more!!

Fantastic class with Mehdi. Will be back. Was all the things I hoped for in a yoga class. Holding deep and challenging poses, relaxing and therapeutic with the crystal bowl sound features, great ambience in the space and small class size allows helpful hands on corrections for deeper stretches.

Tranquil Tree Yoga is exactly what I’ve been looking for in a studio. The space is calm, welcoming, and so are the instructors I’ve worked with so far which are Mehdi and Lily. It is very peaceful the moment you walk in. Both instructors are incredibly attentive, and their hands-on assists during movements help you feel each pose more clearly and while breathing into different parts of the body. I always leave their heated Vinyasa class feeling renewed and energized, and their Yin classes leave me noticeably looser and relaxed. The little touches they add make the experience even better β€” the calming sounds they create at the end of class (like shells softly coming together) are incredible and unbelievably soothing. The cold scented towels they place on your forehead at the end help you melt deeper into relaxation, and the tea with honey they offer tastes amazing and makes the whole experience feel complete. Their stretching and breathing focused poses are perfect for starting or ending the day, or even as a warm-up before the gym. Tranquil Tree Yoga is truly a gem in San Diego, and I’m grateful to have found a studio that feels this grounding and restorative. Highly recommend.

Tranquil Tree Yoga is an amazing yoga studio. The classes having been small and the instructors and helpful. I have tried a number of different classes they offer and with various teachers, all have been wonderful. These classes are challenging but rewarding allowing you to push yourself and improve on your technique. Would recommend to anyone looking to add yoga to their routines.

Great ocean flow with Sabrina! She was very receptive to customizing our yoga class together and focusing on student goals. The studio was really calming and intimate with plants and essential oil diffusers to invigorate the space.
