I rented a Alamo one-way rental car from San Diego to Houston. I booked online through Expedia and I got the cofirmation. Upon arrival at the SAN Airport Alamo rental car location ... there was some people ahead of us. The representative was super nice in explaining everything. Understanding the long drive, I believe he did his best to get us a good car. I was asked to go upstairs and talk to the guy. He told I could pick up any Chrysler Pacifica. We chose one which had around 40k miles on it. It was spacious and clean. It gave us no problems/issues what so ever. I returned here in Houston and am very pleased with the Alamo experience. Will definitely rent again.

I recently rented a vehicle from Alamo in San Diego International Airport in San Diego, California, from July 16 through July 18, 2026, and I wanted to share my positive experience. From start to finish, the rental process was smooth, efficient, and customer-friendly. The staff was professional, helpful, and courteous, making both the pickup and return process quick and easy. The vehicle was clean, comfortable, and in excellent condition, which made my time in San Diego even more enjoyable. I truly appreciated the level of service and attention to detail provided by the Alamo team. Always an amazing experience with Alamo! This past week my family and I rented from the Alamo located near the San Diego airport. The service was phenomenal and the customer service agent was extremely friendly. He even upgraded our luxury sedan to a luxury SUV for no additional fee. The customer service is amazing and they actually give us the chance to pick out the car we want, unlike most rental companies that give you whatever car they want from the category you choose. We will never go with anyone else but Alamo for all of our rental cars from here on out.

I always have great service when using Alamo at the San Diego airport. Whether it's making the reservation, checking in at the counter, selecting the vehicle on the Alamo lot or returning it, I consistently receive stellar customer service. In fact, on the afternoon of July 1, 2026, Ronald (who was working the lot) was so helpful! He was so patient and friendly while I selected my vehicle (changing my mind a couple times in the process). I was so impressed with how kind and understanding he was while I figured out what the heck I wanted :) Kudos to him and Alamo!

I have been renting vehicles with Alamo for many years whenever they are available. During this trip, the vehicle experienced an engine malfunction after two days. I contacted their roadside service, and they arranged for me to exchange the vehicle at the nearest location the next morning. The process was smooth and quick, and no questions were asked as the customer service representative had already followed up on everything. The drop off staff was very friendly and even offered a discount after hearing about the issue with the car. Overall, the service was professional and handled very well.
