If I could give Alforon more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. This was hands down the best Lebanese food I’ve ever had in my life. Every single dish was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can taste the quality in every bite! What made the experience even better was the outstanding service. Sami and George were amazing from the moment we walked in. They made us feel genuinely welcome, took the time to explain the menu, and made sure we had an incredible dining experience from start to finish. Chef George is truly the best! Now I get why Alforon has such an amazing reputation. It doesn’t just live up to the hype, it exceeds it. If you’re looking for authentic Lebanese food and exceptional hospitality, this is the place. I highly, highly recommend Alforon. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you Sami for your warm hospitality!

Such a beautiful experience! It’s a wonderful family-owned spot, and the owners go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The food is next-level. The Sayyadieh was so flavorful, but the Aish el Saraya was the absolute star. I could have eaten ten of them! It’s creamy, semi-sweet, and the spices are perfect. I’m pretty picky when it comes to food, but this is hands-down some of the best I’ve ever had.

Alforno is a fantastic spot for Mediterranean/Lebanese cuisine. The falafel is easily the best I’ve had—crispy on the outside, perfectly seasoned, and incredibly flavorful. The customer service is prompt and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Their menu offers a wide variety of dishes that accommodate different dietary needs. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous. Definitely a place worth visiting if you’re in San Diego.

Love the vibe of this family owned restaurant! Food was delicious and served fast. Ouzi Lamb definitely worth the hype - well marinated, tender, and comes with perfectly cooked basmati rice. Pairs well with the home made yogurt and Lebanese beer 🍺🍻 The shawerma flat bread was great too, baked in a brick oven. And the dessert - Aaysh Essaraya - was one of the best I have tried, with just the right amount of sweetness and pistachio. While the owner lady handles the front of house solo—meaning checkout might take an extra minute and her style is quite direct—it honestly just adds to the authentic, charming character of the place.
