Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Los Angeles is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Everything I ordered was absolutely fantastic. The flavors were rich, authentic, and incredibly satisfying. The spinach dish stood out for its perfect texture and deep, earthy flavor. I especially loved the samosa, which had a beautifully spiced, hearty filling. Every single bite was a total delight. I will definitely be ordering from here again soon.

I absolutely love this place. The owners are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and very understanding. If you are not sure what to choose from the menu, just ask and they will definitely point you in the right direction. The food is packed with flavor and seasoned perfectly. If you enjoy eating with your hands, some dishes may leave your fingers stained for a bit, but it is worth it. The food can also get very spicy if you ask for it, and the spice level is perfect. This is a great spot to grab lunch. I have not been for dinner yet, but I have heard the atmosphere gets very lively. The food is also priced really well for the portion sizes, and it does not feel too heavy either. At least for me, I have finished every dish they recommended. If you have an hour lunch break, definitely stop by. The food is usually made within about 20 minutes, so the wait is not bad at all. I highly recommend this spot if you are in the area. It is definitely one of my top five favorite places to eat.

This is such a cute restaurant. The outside is very unasuming but when you step inside it's quite beautiful. The food is delcious and affordable. And the service was incredibly friendly. Especially for pick up. I've had trouble in the past ordering Indian food to go and getting all the individual boxes and items labled for a large group. Mohammed was so generous and willing to label and go over all the items with me to double check everything when I arrived for pick up. Will definitely be back in the future.

For three days, I kept trying to make it to Anarkali in time to order their dinner for two, and it was absolutely worth it! I was honestly blown away by how many dishes came in the set and how generous the portions were. I barely resisted starting to eat before taking photos, so this review was definitely necessary. I don’t remember the exact name of the bundle (it was around $54), but it came with set items like Tandoori Chicken, naan, and samosas, plus one curry, one veggie dish, and dessert of your choice. For mine, I picked Lamb Masala, Sag Paneer, and mango ice cream β€” that classic Indian one. I also ordered a mango lassi, which was incredible after the spicy food, plus garlic and cheese naan. Everything was delicious and came in big portions. We usually stick to masala, curry, paneer, and saag dishes, but the Tandoori Chicken was a really pleasant surprise β€” so tender, flavorful, and even better with the spicy pickled onions on the side. We’ll definitely be ordering more tandoori next time. All in all, I’m really happy we found this place. Anarkali is definitely becoming my go-to spot for Indian food, especially their bundles for two. Highly recommend! πŸ™‚β€β†•οΈ

I don’t even know where to start with this… this dinner honestly caught me off guard in the best way. A friend recommended this spot, and I went in expecting a good mealβ€”but what I got was something way beyond that. Every single dish was layered with flavor, perfectly spiced, and clearly made with so much care. You could taste the depth in everything, like each bite had a story behind it. At one point, I literally just sat there for a second because I got emotional (yes… over food πŸ˜…). It was that good. The kind of meal that reminds you how powerful food can beβ€”comforting, exciting, and unforgettable all at once. I live about 3 hours away, which feels criminal after experiencing this placeβ€”but I can say with full confidence: I will be back, and hopefully very soon.
