Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Los Angeles is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Best soul food vegan experience. We got the soul sampler platter reg only 13 dollars. Im full on top of full. Potatoe salad, black eyed peas, fried mushrooms, greens cabbage, rice, yams. Everything on my plate was flavorsome, and not heavy or salty. Everything just had straight flavor. Id say eat half the plate save rest its so much for that size. We got fried okra too. It was great too. Everything made fresh by Chef. The fried is not your usual. Its so much lighter and healthier. Hot sauce also different and made by chef. Its delicious as well. We also got pineapple and hibiscus ginger drinks. Perfection, flavorsome and not too sweet just perfect. My new vegan go to!

I'm so happy to find another vegan soul food restaurant, especially since others are closing or have closed. I had the soul platter, which was the excellent! The Mac and cheese seemed to have a slight smoke flavor to them which really added to the flavor. I will definitely be back!

Came here to try this vegan spot. Upon walking in , it feels like you’re in a hour or a clothing store. But don’t let that stop you. The food is delicious The staff are friendly. And took our order right away. We waited 10 min for our food. I ordered Baba's soul Platter -Tuscan Greens, Hot Mac, Rice, beans, yamz, mixed veggies, Protein The vegetables were cooked perfect. Season just right. This platter is the perfect combo. I definitely want to come back and try some more items.

The food here is excellent and full of flavor. We especially loved the lentil fritters with the habanero sauce, they were amazing. The staff is friendly and laid back, creating such a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. It is definitely a place with a great vibe.

I just wanted to tell you about my great experience here. I wish it was closer i would be a regular customer. I love all the afro centric art from the outside of the building to the inside. The food was delicious I ordered the soul food platter with fried black lentils. While we eat we played a game that we borrowed from their library. The customer service here was great they just need more ventilation for when you sit down and eat it gets a little stuffy other than that a new awesome place I discovered.
