I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Best Electronics! From start to finish, everything was smooth, professional, and exceeded my expectations. Brad was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive. He took the time to answer my questions and made sure I got exactly what I needed. Payment through PayPal was quick and easy, and I was amazed when my order arrived in just two days via the post office! I purchased a pair of Atari CX24 controllers, and they are fantastic. The updated design provides much more precise control, making classic games like Pac-Man fun again. The improvement in gameplay is immediately noticeable, and these controllers perform far better than I expected. I also purchased a set of Atari CX30 paddle controllers with the updated potentiometers. These completely eliminated the frustrating “jitter” issue I was experiencing with brand-new paddle controllers I had purchased directly from Atari. The difference is night and day—smooth, accurate, and reliable operation every time. Being based in the UK getting hold of new or replacement parts is a bit of a nightmare. Luckily, I found Best Electronics and Bradley. Super helpful and knowledgeable in my dealings with him. Love the website as there's just so much to read. Many Thanks for an amazing Atari resource.

I have purchased from this company before and wanted to place another order. The first order wasn't real smooth as they don't accept Paypal or an online interface to accept credit card payment. However, I thought I would place another order now that I know what I need to do. I sent several emails without a response. So, tonight I called them. I asked to order 10 of a particular item (power supply). He said he won't sell them to me as there are Ebay sellers buying them and re-selling them at a profit. I asked if I could purchase just one as I repair old consoles and need power supplies. The guy on the phone told me "your account is closed" and that he won't sell anything to me. I didn't get the person's name but he was truly a jerk. Also, they might possibly have the worst website I've ever experienced. It looks like it's from 1998, as it probably is.

If you are interested in vintage Atari, then you know about Best Electronics. No doubt it would be an interesting visit to their store to view the bazillions of vintage Atari parts. Brad has been very helpful in providing advice on repairs and parts, like making sure you have a 1050 diagnostics disk for when you want to replace a track zero sensor in a drive. Anyway, I have been able to repair devices with parts from Best, and it is great they are still in business.

I can't say enough about my experiences with these folks. Bradley reached out personally and very quickly with responses to any questions I had, and the items sent, even the used cartridges, were absolutely pristine. And now I can get my Atari 800XL working again!
