San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Diego follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

You know I liked this church. I did the rooted program I volunteered with maintenance and helped out for their productions which are every weekend with the bounce houses. It's a good church good people. But Jerry and his wife kept bringing politics into the sermons and the church, And I don't care if it's voting season or not don't be talking about politics because Jesus is the only politician Jesus is the only leader that we need all these human leaders they're all the same they're all garbage no matter what their intentions so I left this church and I found a much better one with a lot more laughs but God bless to these guys hopefully they'll find their direction that isn't with the government .

I first started attending Carmel last year(2025). I was welcomed and treated amazingly. I even got baptized there. It was great, until it wasnβt. They will definitely judge you harshly. They say they live by the Bible. However, do NOT ever question it or quote the scriptures that contradict what they teach. I made that mistake and I was literally escorted out of the service by Pastor Nick and Pastor Gabe and told that I am no longer welcome to attend. Never in my life have I ever been kicked out of a church. It was utterly ridiculous and embarrassing. What is even more shocking is the lead pastor taught on forgiveness about 2 weeks prior but apparently that doesnβt apply to everyone. I do NOT recommend this church. Find a different place to worship God.

I cannot get this church to leave me alone. Dude. Maybe you're a great church. I regrettably signed up for info to try to visit (on my one off week from leading worship at my church) but couldn't make it. I've been getting texts and emails non-stop since then, even tho I've unsubsribed. You are doing something wrong when you're upsetting someone who loves Jesus as much as I do by your "welcoming" tactics. Thanks βοΈ (update, still contacting me even tho I've explicitly requested them to stop over text, and unsubsribed. This is ridiiccculousss at this point I can't think it's in good faith they're doing this. Get a grip Carmel Church. STOP. CONTACTING ME.)

Disappointed in how my husband was treated by Scott and Pastor Nick and his wife Jenny. We wanted to volunteer and were treated very poorly, when they encourage you to volunteer you get judged. We were going there for a year in a half, it was a huge crush to my soul. When we wanted to do groups we were told we were not in the same phase of life by Flora and Scott, after we had it all planned and set up, we have children that are the same age so the phase of life did not make sense. We found a different church and are much happier. I feel like City Church can be clickie especially with the people that have been there for 15-20 years. Pastor Nick also had a meeting about this after my husband went to him and was upset, he had a meeting with another church member we knew asking if my husband had anger issues, which he does not he was upset and anyone would be being the fact he was singled out and judged by a church hurts. Talking to other church members and calling my husband asking him what his past demons are and saying "we don't even know who you are" these are things a good pastor would never do. I also couldn't get the lead pastor Jerry to call or email us back. It is really sad

Amazing. Yesterday was my first visit and I intend to return. Pastor Jerry and his wife Tami were able to give their message in a way that was easy to understand and with humor. My kind of service.

The atmosphere, messages, and worship are all fantastic. However, it is the people and pastors who make the City Church the amazing home that it is.

Awesome Non-denominational church. Full of Grace and Truth. I am a single dad of three boys under 12 and from the first minute I stepped on their campus their staff was so gracious and helpful. Offering to take my boys to thier area so I could grab a much needed coffee before service. Wendell , the youth pastor, was incredibly hospitable and even followed up with me via text. Jerry the Lead Pastor stopped by to shake my hand and welcome me. Went back a second time and I have been going through some things as we all do. Just when I needed it Veronica came and introduced herself and took me to Associate Pastor Toby who prayed with me on the spot. A man named Mike saw that happening and came right up offering his words and special message he felt lead to give. Words can not express how much I needed that support today. I know where my tithe is going. This church and its members are the real deal. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart.
