My wife and I started attending a few months ago and it’s become our home church. The community is warm, welcoming, and encouraging. The men’s discipleship on Saturdays has been personally impactful. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The word of God is always preached 📖. They have so many ministries throughout the week. This is an active church, equipping everyone to become people after God's heart. You will feel LOVED ❤️and KNOW that there is a GOD in heaven that loves you.

It seems strange to rate a church so I'll do it like this: ⭐ Not Woke ⭐ Always preaches with an open Bible ⭐ Expository Preaching, not Pastor's topic of the week ⭐ Truth without apology ⭐ Gospel is preached every time ⭐ Christ's love here is Evident in leaders and believers. I love Core Church LA! I finally found a church that preaches the Word of God and does not compromise! Pastor Steve is the real deal and his sermons are powerful, impactful, and very relevant in the broken world we live in today. Every week, I know I'm going to be so blessed by the worship and the expository preaching. My search is over. I have finally found my church home after years and years of seeking uncompromised truth of God's Word which is the same yesterday, today, and forever! My kids are so happy at Kids Church and they learn so much about the Bible week after week! Their VBS this summer was phenomenal! I love how they are preparing the younger generation to love and serve the one true God! My family is blessed by Core Church and we are so happy to be in our church home! Come check us out! You'll love it!

I visited once on Sunday and I won't be going back only because I didn't think it was a good fit for where I'm at in my walk. The area itself is unsafe and drab, but the church is okay and the parking okay. Greeters are nice. During the greeting time, no one bothered to actually talk to me. Just said hi and then turned to the next person. This church seems like a good place for people new to the faith. It looks pretty and the worship "feels good". Two of the songs didn't really seem like worship though, more just contemporary Christian music. The preaching is actually pretty solid for a seeker sensitive church. He preached on a passage and stuck to it, so kudos for that. And he didn't shy away from calling sin out for what it is. I think condemnation in the pulpit is fine, and necessary depending on the text, as long as it's balanced with the gospel.

I needed to find a good Church in Los Angeles. I google searched Church Near Me that teaches the true word of God. Core Church LA popped up. I remember I have heard pastor Steve preach on 95.5 KKLA. So I call my mom and ask her what is the best church to go to in Los Angeles? She tells me go to the Chruch that Steve Wilburn pastors. She said I have heard him on the radio and I remember his name it sounded familiar. I look up his name and Core Church LA pops up the same church that was first in my google search! I’ve been reading the Bible for the past 14 years. I was stuck half way in the book of revelations and stopped reading the Bible for a little time maybe 2-3 years. So when I first came to Core Church it was in 2019. I am instantly greeted by the most awesome family of Christ you can imagine instant fellowship and welcome arms. I sit in the service and guess what Pastor Steve is preaching in the book of revelations in the exact same chapter that I stopped reading at in three years ago. I followed through with him through the whole study of the book of revelations and that was the Holy Spirit signifying to me this is the church you need to be in! Not only did I finish reading
