During this most difficult time (the passing of our mom), Maribel was a godsend. She was compassionate and caring; explaining everything and our options. She was not pushy at all. She did what she promised and was available to answer all our questions. Highly recommend Darling-.Fischer👍🏼👍🏼

Eva Quiñónez Galindo 07/18/1925- 05/07/2024 - The Fernandez Quiñónez family, wants to give thanks to the Darling Fischer funeral home for the excellent service they did for my mother and our family. Not only did they provide amazing service they gave us unconditional support during our time of mourning. My mother looked beautiful during the funeral and it captured how she lived her life always as a gorgeous woman. All the funeral staff were very kind and made everyone feel welcome and comforted. A special thank you to Maribel who helped us during our time of need and understood our situation. The church service was stunning and outstanding. We could have not asked for a better service. We give a big thank you and we will always cherish the memories that they gave us.

Unfortunately, I’ve had to use their services quite a few times. Most recently, I lost my beautiful sister and as always, Darling and Fischer has been there and made the process easy for our family. They are kind, knowledgeable, patient and very professional. We’ve had positive contact with all employees and they are all great. We usually have Maribel helping us and she is amazing, on point , and follows through with questions and follow up that needs to be done. Thank you to all employees for taking care of our family through our darkest times.

Elliot of Darling Fischer was BY FAR THE BEST part of the horrifying experience of losing my husband suddenly while we were abroad. I am in awe of Elliot's professionalism, kindness, ability to work with foreign funeral parlors, and start to finish thoroughness. He exhibited a lovely grounded thoughtfulness so appropriate for the situation, but so so rare. What a caring human. We have deep gratitude and fond memories of our interactions with him.

Anne was our funeral arranger and helped us immensely in the unexpected planning of my brother’s funeral. I’m so grateful for her support and empathy during this difficult time. She also spoke Vietnamese, which was so helpful for my mom who knew little English. I highly recommend Darling Fischer when looking for a funeral home. I’ve learned so much about this process thanks to Anne. They also have their own crematory in Los Gatos, for anyone looking for a cremation.

During a very difficult time for our family, the team at Darling & Fischer provided exceptional care and support from my initial inquiry to visiting their location for a site check. Vanna and Maribel’s professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail made an overwhelming process feel much more manageable. As our loved one’s last wish was to be taken back home overseas, there is an additional layer of work to be done. They were incredibly respectful of our wishes and worked thoughtfully within our budget, offering guidance and options without ever making us feel pressured. Every member of their staff treated our family with kindness and patience, and they handled the arrangements with the utmost dignity. We are truly grateful for their excellent customer service and for helping us honor our loved one in such a meaningful way. Before I went with Darling Fischer Garden Chapel, I called a couple other funeral homes in the San Jose area. The other funeral homes didn't feel as warm and they weren't as informative. I spoke with Pam several months ago. She was very friendly and helpful with my pre-planning questions. I live out of state and I had to arrange funeral services over the phone and by email. Maribel was so thorough and responsive with all of the arrangements for my mother. The services went very well and all of my family was very happy with everything. All of the staff we worked with were very compassionate and helpful. A special thank you to Kristina, who worked both days of the services. She was great along with the rest of the team. The pricing is comparable to other funeral homes in the area.

All of the staff we got in contact with were super helpful and understanding, and even went beyond to help our family.
