Professional, Upbeat & Personal Service; my second time copying a car key here. I don't recall what I paid five years ago, but the price seems reasonable and the wait was less than an hour! Convenient location in Pacific Beach. I will not hesitate to use them again!

Highly recommend Dup-A-Key Found with ChatGPT. Excellent web site. Highly experienced technician arrived at the house on time. He quickly extracted a broken key and then identified the root cause which was a broken latch lever. Had a second patio door lock which provided a replacement. He ensured both doors were functional and then assisted me in Googling for a latch lever replacement. Fantastic experience! Highly recommended for reasonable prices and friendly fast service.

Excellent service! I was in a tight time frame and needed to get into the unit quickly to clean. I called, and they arrived within 15 minutes wow! My wife’s key fob broke and we were calling around and these little hustlers in their portable key trucks were trying to charge her $150 then when we said no thank you ,,they would call us back and ask how much are you willing to pay? So I took it down to Dub-A-Key and had it handled for $60 bucks out the door! Support local businesses and why you get your key fixed you’re just a few blocks from the water so you might as well enjoy the ocean while you’re down here! Did they say they’re funny and friendly !

Called these guys yesterday to repair the door lock on my commercial business. After a late night failed forced entry at my business my evening and morning were ruined by a glass break alarm. Luckily the amateur theifs only managed to ruin my lock. With a simple call and a short wait dup-a-key saved my Saturday by being punctual and handy. Showing up within a few hrs after first contact with all the parts was huge. Technican resecured my establishment quick with the knowledge and understanding needed. Big thanks guys, will refer with trust. Also price was not cheap but very reasonable to the instant piece of mind and quality of work. Didn't bat an eye.
