A Great park with play place; lakes with water plants like lotus, water lettuce, and many more that I cannot name, animals like birds, fish and turtles. Free entrance and street parking.

Such a beautiful scenic park… best enjoyed from afar. We made the mistake of bringing our lunch to-go to enjoy here. I would NOT recommend anyone taking a stroll especially if you have kids or dogs, I definitely do not recommend bringing a picnic blanket like I saw some people doing. It’s completely covered in old and fresh geese poop everywhere. It’s unavoidable. Just admire the park from the perimeter outside and be thankful you’re not breathing in all the poop dust. 🀒πŸͺΏ At least there’s bathrooms if you’re in a pinch and the geese/ducks/turtles are cute.

We really enjoyed visiting Echo Park! The park is beautiful, relaxing, and perfect for spending time outdoors with family. The lake and surrounding views create a peaceful atmosphere, and it’s a great place to walk, sit, and enjoy nature. Everything felt lively and enjoyable, and there was plenty of space for children to play. A lovely spot to take a break and spend quality time β€” we would happily visit again!

Best place to workout w someone, take laps around the pretty green scenery, everyone minds their business very much well. Definitely a peaceful park to have a picnic under the trees.

Canonical landmark in front of the LA skyline, Echo Park offers the tranquility in the midst of downtown LA for walking around an artificial lake. Pedal boats are available for renting, and the lotus festival is not to miss. Highly recommended to relax and recharge after grudging days!
