We had a wonderful stay at the Fairmont. The standout feature is, without question, the service. Every member of the staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making our stay enjoyable. That level of hospitality gave the hotel a classic, old-school luxury feel that is becoming increasingly rare. The property itself isn’t the newest, and some areas show their age, but we found that to be a small tradeoff for the warmth, charm, and exceptional service throughout our stay. One thing to be aware of is the beach access. Although the hotel is very close to the coastline, getting to the beach requires crossing a road, walking over a bridge, and then going down a fairly long staircase. It’s a bit more of a walk than you might expect, but that’s simply the nature of the location, and it’s still about as close to the beach as you can stay in this area. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you value genuine hospitality, timeless elegance, and a relaxing atmosphere over having the newest property, the Fairmont is an excellent choice.

Come with an expectation that it's an older hotel... Yes there some remodeling that needs to be done but honestly the service, food, and LOCATION outshined here. They attempt to modernize the rooms which I give them credit for because it's not that bad but bathrooms are expected to be outdated since this hotel is old as their humongous fig tree. It still was not terrible! Everything was working well still in our room and bathroom. We love the service here. Everyone was so professional and kind. Those valet guys were the best we ever had!! And we stay in numerous hotels in country and internationally! They honestly were so kind in taking our scooters in and out of storage whenever we needed them. Daniel was great and so were the others! Those guys need more credit running around in their suits in this heat while maintaining their smiles and professionalism, and managing the constant chaos in this roundabout! Food was amazing at the FIG. Better than I expected it to be! Location is clutch here. This is close to all the shopping, restaurants, park, and most importantly the beach! Our stay at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel was nothing short of spectacular. Without a doubt, it is one of the most beautiful hotels we've ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations and made for an unforgettable trip. Our room was incredible, with views of the ocean and beach, and our balcony overlooked the gorgeous pool area. It was the perfect place to relax with a morning coffee or unwind after a day of exploring. The food was outstanding—we enjoyed it so much that we ate at the hotel three times during our stay in Los Angeles. Every meal was delicious, and the service was exceptional each time. The location couldn't have been better. The hotel is directly across from the Santa Monica Pier, making it easy to enjoy leisurely walks along the beach and explore the area during the day and on warm summer evenings. The valet parking was convenient and well worth it, making coming and going completely hassle-free. Most of all, the staff truly made our stay special. The location is our favorite; on the water and on its own compound. I once stayed here about 20 years ago for a weekend so we came back for eight days this time, and it’s been great so far. We availed ourselves of breakfast downstairs, which was very large and excellent. The pool is modestly busy, there is plenty of seating and we are on a low floor by choice with a beach view and a very nice room. The furniture is a little roughed up, but the water pressure, the water temperature, the quiet HVAC, and the overall quiet hallways and rooms are terrific. We used to be Proper regulars but this seems our new choice. We really appreciate the comp water every day, the excellent coffee pods, the fruit basket upon arrival. There is a high-touch feeling here. The service at poolside and in the restaurants is very professional. Our grandson enjoyed the Mermaid.

10/10 experience from start to finish. The level of customer service here is outstanding. Every staff member I interacted with was professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made a noticeable difference throughout the stay. The property itself is beautifully maintained, with excellent facilities and thoughtful amenities that elevate the overall experience. The location is ideal, making it easy to enjoy the surrounding area while still feeling like a relaxing retreat. Food and beverage offerings were top quality, and the attention to detail across the entire property did not go unnoticed. From the views to the overall atmosphere, everything felt carefully curated. This was an exceptional stay in every sense, and I will absolutely be returning. Highly recommend.
