If you are looking for a fantastic meal right by the ocean in Los Angeles then Shutters on the Beach is a wonderful choice for the family. We had a great dining experience with fast and friendly service throughout our meal. The lobster rolls are an absolute must-try and come highly recommended. The eggplant lasagna was very tasty though asking for some extra mozzarella makes it even better. The chicken Milanese came in a huge portion and was really delicious. I had the steak which was a very good cut of meat and tasted great but it felt a bit pricey for a relatively small piece so you might want to choose one of their many other top options instead. For dessert the churros were super tasty and the cake was great as well but a good tip is to order just one slice of cake to share because the portions are large. Overall it was a great experience and a top spot to visit.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO: We stayed in a one bedroom suite on the second floor. The price for the room was $$$$$$$. With this in mind, we were hoping for a nice, quiet room with a view of the ocean. NO. Did not happen. YOU NEED TO KNOW that your room may be right next to the lobby lounge outdoor deck and there is music and loud talking while they are open. There are also musicians and others that are right outside of your window (technically on the public beach) that are singing, playing the trumpet, keyboards and VERY LOUD all the time. The room also has a public walkway right under the window, so you are going to hear the public (at least when we were there very loudly) and it is NOT quiet...it's very loud. MY SUGGESTION TO SHUTTERS: Invest in double/triple pane windows (something similar to what Bellagio has in Las Vegas) so you can't hear all of this noise. We also had our next door neighbors that decided to throw a VERY LOUD PARTY from 2 - 3 am (yes, I called security and they quieted down after a while). I was actually shocked they didn't get kicked out because this kind of behavior should not be tolerated. The good news is that the Guest Relations Manage

I would like to leave a review regarding an experience I had at your restaurant β€œCoast” on 5/25. My mother reserved a table for three at 8:15 PM to celebrate my birthday. Not only was it my birthday, but it was also the first time in over 10 years that I was reunited with my aunt visiting from Brazil, whom I had not seen in a very long time. This dinner was meant to be a special and joyful occasion for our family. The evening started beautifully. Our server, Lex, provided excellent service throughout the dinner. He was attentive, patient, caring, and professional. The food was also excellent, and initially we were truly enjoying our experience. However, around approximately 9:30 PM, the music in the restaurant was suddenly turned off while we were still eating our main course. At that point, we realized we were the last table remaining in the restaurant. Shortly after, we began hearing staff loudly speaking, handling dishes noisily, and clearly beginning their closing procedures around us. I politely mentioned to our server that it felt uncomfortable to have the music turned off while we were still dining. Lex immediately apologized and even kindly offered to turn the music bac
