San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Diego follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

As military transitioning into the area, we tried attending this church for our first Sunday service in San Diego. First off parking is a nightmare. There are signs but there is no one from the dream team directing traffic. As a result we were very confused and couldnβt find parking for 10 minutes. On top of that when we went to Grace Kids to check in our baby one of the volunteers working the kiosk left completely to help someone else and as a result we did not figure out how to check in our kids or where to take them so we ended up carrying our 5 month old to service. When we walked through the door we were not greeted with not even so much as a fake smile. When we walked into the main sanctuary we were just told to go to the balcony in an unfriendly manner where you can barely see the pastor and by the time we did that worship music was already done. Maybe this church is a good church for some people as they had many in attendance but we will not be back because we were not welcomed or helped at all. We ended up leaving 5 minutes into service to go somewhere else. The start of the message was very confusing and there was no back fill for first time guests. Everything about this

I have visited Grace 3 or 4 times. Its a rather large church. It appears to have mostly young families and singles. I am not in that age group, but it is a very loving and friendly church. The preaching is scripturally accurate, loving and encoupppraging. There seems to be something for everyone. I will return! Parking is a bit of a challenge.

Came here to visit for Easter Sunday as first time visit. I have been God serving for over 18 years now but I do have some feedback for the church staff. As a first comer I was not greeted at all when coming in. Rather I was stared at while walking in by a big group of members of the church. The pastors message was great. I decided to give the coffee a try and quickly experienced the same thing. I received another stare from a middle aged blonde lady working in the coffee shop. It was a very unfriendly stare and none of the church members spoke to me. It felt like a very unfriendly and βcliqueβish atmosphere. If I was not a Christian I would never come back to church if this was my first time experience. One man greeted me on my way out but I say this out of love please the staff needs to do better. But the pastor message was great. Easter Sunday is an open door for people who donβt know God unbiased with no judgement for anyone to walk in and feel loved and we did not get that loving vibe. Coffee is not enough. There needs to be love. I recommend building and training a strong welcome team who goes the extra mile to greet people

While visiting San Diego, we attended a Sunday service at this local church near our hotel. The streets were packed with cars, and we were worried about finding a spot for our rental, but luckily, they had a designated visitor parking area. We stopped by the welcome booth, where a friendly couple gave us a brief overview of the church and answered our questions with a smile. They even gave us coupons for free coffee! After the service, we enjoyed a delicious coffee (worth over $5) at the on-site cafe right next to the church.

Iβve been attending Grace Church for almost three years after moving here from Hermosa Beach. We were looking for a Spirit-led church that openly teaches the Trinity and the Holy Spirit, and Grace does that. The people are welcoming and itβs easy to build real friendships, and there are many ways to serve. The pastors are relatable, approachable, and easy to talk to, you can always find them after service. Itβs not a huge church, but they offer multiple services with childcare. Their podcast (Deeper than Sunday) is also a great way to go deeper after the message. My husband especially loves the churchβs heart for missions and sending people out to serve and teach. Like any group of imperfect people, everyone here is truly trying to love one another and build Godβs kingdom together!

Been attending the church for a year and a house church For nearly a year. I noticed a clique and I know some people would never try to initate any conversation or get to know me the entire year. Stuff went down and I've apologized, but I know I truly don't want to be around people who don't care if I leave Christianity. No matter how I tried to be relatable or get to know others, I say a few shut me down. I know where their head is at with me, despite having good intentions. Some times when I would attend HC, apart from the leaders. I felt ignored somehow. Some people are very kind and loving, but expect few people to make judgments and never take the time to know you. This is a YP house church on Thursdays. The leaders are great. I love them. I won't lie about my feelings and experience. I wish those leaders the best, and to whom ever tried making me feel welcome. I will always remember and appreciate you. I know God is sending me away from that area, because why would you stay where you don't feel welcome all the time? I did speak to a few people, one in particular who I saw ignored me. Had a discussion about it, and when I apologized, I forgave them to. God still had show

Grace Church is family. I love the house church model of mid-week community and doing life together. We are a missional church and always have Biblically-based, Christ-centered sermons. I started over not knowing anyone in this area and it has become a family where I feel seen and loved. The Young Professionals group is fabulous for anyone new in town and there are a lot of young families here!
