San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Diego follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Very welcoming. After a few visits, we knew we found our church home. A few weeks later we felt like family.

The very church I got baptized at. Every one is incredible and so friendly. Their focus on their youth ministry is so important. God bless.

I really enjoy attending the Grove Church. The people strive to much to help new people feel welcome. The authenticity of the pastoral staff really is felt as you're not expected to be perfect here, but instead just be wanting to grow more in your spiritual walk. The small groups throughout the week are always a fun environment where you get to meet new people, but also an opportunity to learn and grow alongside people who you would never talk to normally. The opportunities to serve are present and encouraged. I see people of all walks of life attending, and there is such an emphasis on being part of Christ's family. There are sermons based on money, but honestly I've not heard better sermons on it. Often times it feels like a money grab situation, but I can feel the authenticity and the desire for understanding that where your treasure is your heart will follow. I recommend this church to all my friends, family, enemies, or random people walking on the street! A church for all to feel welcome and become part of God's people!

I've attended the grove church since my freshmen year of college, and I'm so blessed to be part of this church. The leaders and volunteers are warm and welcoming, and always willing to bring you into community. This church really encourages you to have a personal relationship with Jesus and the leadership is so present if you're struggling or need a mentor. I've gotten to serve in a number of ministries and each one has been a positive experience. I recently started serving in kids ministry and I'm genuinely so happy to be part of it. It's highly organized, and they really make sure you won't burn out. Overall, this church wants more for you (growing in your relationship with Jesus and his people) than from you, and that matters. The grove church is my home, YAM is my family and I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to sets roots 🌲

The grove church has the best bible-based teaching I have ever heard. I attend every Sunday and when I can't, I watch online so I don't miss anything. The people here are so welcoming and outgoing, it makes it so fun and easy to get connected and get involved. I have especially loved their children's ministry. I have three kids and they LOVE going to their classes and Cara, the director is so great! She communicates so well and is so caring about our kids and family! I would highly recommend this church to anyone looking to get connected and deepen their relationship with the Lord.

I've been attending The Grove church for 4.5years and I can honestly say, this church has such a beautiful heart for Jesus. It's easy to come in and judge churches sometimes forgetting that everyone in the church is broken. We are all human. We all make mistakes and no matter how hard you try, you can't please everyone. I've been guilty of judging churches myself and God proved me wrong in every judgment I tried to have. I can attest the leadership is incredible and authentic. We are not there to play church, but to be the church. There is so much love and support. The church has grown a ton since I've been going and the way to get connected with people is to attend a Growth Group which they have 3x per year for a series of weeks. It's a great way to get to know people on a deeper level and to dig into the Word even more. I've also had the pleasure of serving on the worship team. Not only have I grown SO much spiritually at this church, but I have grown in the gift that God has given me. I'm so grateful for The Grove. God is using this church in a huge way. <3

We have been at Grove Church for over twelve years! Such a great spiritual community. We felt welcomed from the beginning and have not left since. My husband and I love the pastors, staff, sermons, growth groups and worship. We especially love the children's ministry. Our children always look forward to kids club on Friday night and childcare on Thursdays during growth groups and going to their classes on Sunday mornings. The children's ministry leaders and volunteers have always shown their love for Jesus and to our children and as a parent that's what I am looking for in a great children's program. A great church for families and young people alike.

Absolutely amazing church and congregation. They make you feel completely welcome from jump and their outreach programs are completely selfless and tremendous. John is the most down to earth, caring pastor I’ve ever met. We tried several churches after we left our church we were going to for 15 years. The moment we walked through the door we knew we were home. 🏠 If you are searching for for a real Christ loving, strong family this church is for you. Don’t delay, salvation and God’s love are manifested in this family. My sincere appreciation goes to the Hoffman’s and the community they’ve created. πŸ™βœοΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
