One of my most disappointing hotel stays. From start to finish, I received different answers from different members of the staff. The front desk seemed to struggle with anything beyond a straightforward request, and when an issue arose with my reservation, the Front Desk Manager’s handling of it lacked the professionalism and customer service I would expect from someone in that position. Having previously worked in hospitality, I understand the level of service expected at this level. I also understand that issues happen. What matters is how they are handled, and that was where this hotel really fell short. The room was comfortable, although the blackout curtains allowed enough light in to wake me earlier than expected. I skipped breakfast and room service because I had been underwhelmed by the menu options on a previous visit. The valet and bell team were the bright spot. A few of the gentlemen there were genuinely friendly, helpful, and professional. Overall, a disappointing experience, particularly because the service simply did not match the caliber of hotel or the expectations that come with it

We recently hosted a meeting at Hotel Valencia, and the experience was wonderful from beginning to end. The venue itself was perfect, especially being located right on Santana Row and within such close proximity to so many excellent restaurant and shopping options. It made the overall experience even more enjoyable for our attendees. The staff was incredibly detail-oriented, attentive, and professional. Our meeting was executed perfectly, even with a few last-minute changes, and everything flowed seamlessly. Carol and Jacquelyn were especially helpful from the very beginning through the end of the event, and the entire team that helped facilitate the meeting was fantastic. Our attendees truly enjoyed the meeting and raved about the venue, the service, and the overall experience. We are so appreciative of the care and attention Hotel Valencia provided and would highly recommend the venue for future meetings and events.

Pack your walking shoes, you won’t need your car much if you stay at Hotel Valencia! Although we only stayed 1night, we really liked our stay here. The location was unbeatable since everything we had planned was on Santana Row. Restaurants, shopping, Westfield Valley Fair, and the Winchester Mystery House were all within easy walking distance. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, the property was beautiful, and the complimentary sangria at check-in was a nice touch. The bed was also one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve slept in. Just be aware that this is an upscale hotel with upscale fees. Early check-in before 10 am is $100, early check-in by 1 pm is $60, and valet parking is $60 per day with in-and-out privileges. We arrived around 9:30 am but decided to wait until check-in since the early check-in fee wasn’t worth it for us. We came back around 2 pm and were pleasantly surprised they checked us in at no extra charge. We also skipped valet and parked in one of the nearby garages for about $15 per day. We’d definitely stay here again and next time book a longer stay to enjoy it even more.
