For a place to eat or drink, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open now, how long is the wait at peak hours, and does the menu suit the group you are bringing. American restaurants typically run lunch and dinner services with a quieter stretch in between, coffee shops open early, and many kitchens close earlier on Sunday. Cards and tap-to-pay are accepted almost everywhere, a tip of 15-20% is customary for table service, and sales tax is added at the register.

San Jose is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Jose follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

It's a somewhat cramped store with little room in the aisles so it's difficult for more than 1 person to be in an aisle. But that is because they jam sooo much stuff into the store. The variety is awesome. The line is often pretty long. But again, that's because they have so much great stuff and customers love to shop here. They had all of the registers staffed by friendly, efficient cashiers. And multiple people restocking the shelves every time I visit. It's a very clean store, too.

I grew up going here for groceries and getting chocolate from the old owner for speaking a little bit of Arabic. It was always the go to spot for me and my family. Flash forward around 16-17 years and I walk in for the first time again to get some amazing kebab. I walked in not expecting much has changed and it hasn’t, it was great. Was greeted and treated amazing by a man named Ali. Honestly it made my day. Had a great conversation and the whole waiting for the food, the best part of my day. Thanks Ali for making my day. I’ll be sure to come back as soon as I am in town. I appreciate you taking care of me even when I just met you! Not sure you will see this but I hope you do! Highly recommend this bazar. Great foods, cuts of meat, veggies. Everything you are looking for.

This is one of my favorite markets. The customer service is excellent. Today I went for my olives, which they have a good variety of, and Kenia and Adriana helped me at the register, very friendly, and helpful and fast, the line was long but it took me only a couple of minutes to get to the front. In general all the staff here are very nice. Thank you for the nice service!

International Food Bazaar is an incredible supermarket and honestly a bit of a wow experience from the moment you walk in. The selection of fresh and packaged foods from all over the world is impressive, and it feels like you could spend hours exploring every aisle. No matter what cuisine you’re cooking, there’s a very good chance you’ll find what you need here. The deli counter alone is worth the visit. The cold cut selection is massive, with far more options than you typically see at a standard grocery store. I ended up picking up hot capicola and Genoa salami, and both were excellent quality at very reasonable prices. There’s also a huge selection of fresh olives and a hot food section that’s hard to resist. The produce section was another highlight. All the vegetables looked vibrant, fresh, and well cared for, with prices that felt very fair. It’s clear they put a lot of effort into keeping everything stocked and looking great. The dry goods aisles are packed with variety, especially when it comes to spices. If you’re looking for hard-to-find spices or international pantry items, this is absolutely the place to go. Overall, International Food Bazaar is a fantastic market wit

This store has a fantastic selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, and I love that you can handpick them yourself. They also offer a great variety of olives and most of the products you’d expect from a Middle Eastern market, including a good selection of fruit bars (Lavashak) at reasonable prices. One of the highlights is their in-store kitchen, where they serve delicious Middle Eastern dishes like Kabab, making it a one-stop shop for groceries and a quick meal. The only downside is their receipts. Many of the items you purchase are listed under vague, general labels like "produce," "pastry," or "nuts," which makes it harder to track exactly what you bought. Overall, though, it’s a great place for both fresh produce and Middle Eastern staples.
