San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Diego is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. John Padilla Plumbing provided excellent service from start to finish. Hunter was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and, most importantly, honest. He took the time to explain everything clearly, completed the job efficiently, and made sure everything was done right. It’s refreshing to find a company with employees you can truly trust. I highly recommend John Padilla Plumbing and especially Hunter for anyone looking for reliable, honest, five-star plumbing service!

What disappointing experience. I’ve used this company last year for my sink clogging issue. I figure I should use them again to make things easy and want to be a recurring returning customer. The appointment intake was pleasant. I spoke to a guy he schedule the appointment. On appointment day I waited 2 hours past my quoted time then decided to call the office and check in on arrival. A front desk girl name Russel answered the phone. I asked if she knew the status of the arrival time, she told me “ We quoted you 8-12, but that’s not how it works. We now have you down for 3-5 since we won’t be able to get to you in the morning”. I could understand how the servicing industry works, but something about the way she answered with such disregards to the initial commitment and people’s time threw me off. My explanation to her was that I was quoted 8-12, which I took off work for. If things changed, someone will need to let me know. 3-5 won’t work as I have school pick up and doctor’s appointment. She was dismissive on all of that and said “I don’t know what to tell you, someone will call you when they’re ready to head on the way!” I asked if I can speak to someone else, she said they will

13 year old water heater from prior owner went out and was leaking and an emergency. I first called a few other companies I found online and one that installed a new air conditioner unit prior. Not only was my call answered by AI and Virtual instead of a real person, which is so unprofessional and stressful, trying to sell more, etc. when you are dealing with a serious situation. I was shocked! I thankfully found John Padilla Plumbing who had someone out within 45 minutes at almost 6pm and made me feel so calm and assured. I had no idea how much was needed to be done for safety as the prior seller did nothing and not to code. The replacement was done next morning and they went above and beyond. Nicest people and love supporting family owned businesses who actually care. It's like my water pressure and heat is like never before. Complete 360 difference. I paid more than expected but would rather support companies like this.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Experience with John Padilla Plumbing! We recently had to replace two failing water heaters in our home that were barely five years old, due to severe internal corrosion and scaling caused by San Diego’s very hard water. Before choosing a company, I met with at least six different plumbing companies—from small independents to large, well‑known operations throughout San Diego. When Patrick from John Padilla Plumbing came to our home, it was immediately clear that he was in a different league. By that point, I was fairly well‑educated on the issues and options, and within minutes of walking through everything with him, I knew I had found the right company. Patrick was professional, knowledgeable, and a straight shooter—no pressure, no upselling, and no trying to sell me something I didn’t need. Just honest, informed guidance. Patrick told me he could complete the entire job the very next day and assured me he would assign one of his top installers. In reality, they sent two outstanding pros: Jose Ponce and Juan Vega. Both were incredibly professional, friendly, and patient, and they kept us informed every step of the way. I had to leave for work shortly after t

Great service was given by Alejandro M. he checked all of our drains and helped to clean them out, checked water pressure, and tested our water quality. He was very professional, on feb 16th, he deserves 5 stars! We were so impressed, that we scheduled an appointment for my parents and another unit the following week, expecting the same service. The day of they canceled both appointments a few hours before the scheduled time. With no apologies or any kind of customer service . How can a company not have any technician in a five hour window, for a 1hr inspection? They did not seem to care, gave me another date and said take it or leave it…. Way below my expectations of customer service! I wonder if their $88 drain inspection special was to gain new customers, but pushed to the side for a larger plumbing job?
