My recent experience at Kaiser’s Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory on Sunset Blvd. was phenomenal. I received proper attention and care by all the staff. Dr. Naing Moor and fellow Dr. Asra Butt very patiently and diligently explained the whole procedure and discussed the results. RN Henry Sacre was an exceptionally good caregiver and a very well informed and trained person. In short whole medical staff displayed superb bedside manners that was very calming experience for me.

I was admitted to the Neuro surgery dept for a laminectomy with fusion. Dr Rahman was great and so was his staff. The nurses who tended to me during my 4 day stay were sooo nice! They are very professional and efficient. I felt very special while there and Im a person who dislikes being hospitalized. They were on top of my care! I would rrcommend.

Johanna was my mom’s nurse very pleasant and caring. Helped set up upcoming appointments to make it very easy to move along with her illness. Doctor and adviser Elisabeth was so helpful. Not the place you want to be but if you have to this Kaiser will take good care of you!

I’m writing this review on behalf of my friend who was admitted to Kaiser LA, Neuro ICU and later the Neurology Telemetry / Med Surg unit. We’re truly grateful for the care he received at Kaiser Sunset after sustaining a traumatic brain injury. The entire team—from the nurses (Christian, Ralph, Daisy, Marie, and others whose names we unfortunately can’t recall) to the support staff and physicians—was outstanding. Everyone was kind, patient, and took the time to clearly explain what was going on, which meant so much during such a stressful and uncertain time. You could really tell they cared about his recovery and about supporting our family through it all. The physicians (neurologist, neurosurgeon, and internal medicine) were excellent—clear, responsive, and easy to communicate with. It felt like there was strong teamwork and everyone was on the same page, which gave us a lot of confidence in the care he was receiving. I was also very impressed with how clean and well-maintained the unit was. It helped us feel reassured that he was in a safe, well-cared-for environment. I had to come into the ER because there was something wrong with my eye. I don’t have Kaiser Insurance yet, but I plan on switching next year. Very pleased with everything that was done for me at this hospital. I was seen quickly in the ER waiting room And all the staff were very accommodating and friendly and knowledgeable. There was maybe 15 people in there waiting with me. They said my retina was not torn or detached so I could go home but had a follow up appointment the next morning and went to the medical building this time and saw an ophthalmologist there at Kaiser and was very pleased with these results as well. The doctor was very patient, answered all my questions and gave me a follow up plan. I was able to use my LA Care insurance plan and had a $350 co-pay which wasn’t too bad considering it was the ER and I saw one of the doctors the next day. I was seen within five minutes and it’s very nice that it’s not a frantic atmosphere. Exceptional facilities. Very clean and well organized. Highly recommend.
