Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Los Angeles is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The WORST Hospital Ive EVER BEEN TOO!! And I Mean THE WORST! Some Of The People Working There Shouldnt Be Working In ANY HOSPITAL AT ALL!!! πŸ’―πŸ’―πŸ’― I'd Give Zero Or Negative Stars If I Could! I Had A Very Traumatic Experience Here And I Would Suggest To ANYONE That If You Truly Care About Your Loved Ones And The Care That They Need And Deserve, Then Do NOT Send Them To This Hospital! You'll REGRET IT! πŸ’― From Sloppy And Un-Organized Employees, To Completely Disrespectful Belligerent Employees (Against Patients As Well) ETC..... That Isn't Even The Beginning Of My Horrible Experience At This Absolute Hell Hole Of A Hospital... The Day I Was There, People Were Discharging Against Medical Advice (Me As Well)! This Hospital Is HORRIBLE And A Straight Up NIGHTMARE!! It Literally Reminded Me Of A Psych Ward!! Shout Out To Vanessa V****** Though She Was The ABSOLUTE Best Nurse I Could've Asked For And I Feel Like She Belongs In A Waaaaayyyy Better Hospital That Is Waaaayyyy Better And Professional! DISGUSTING Place That Lacks Any Kind Of Compassion And I Suggest That People Go And Read The Reviews On Yelp About "Los Angeles Community Hospital And BELIEVE All Of The Horrible Reviews About This

This is an old hospital, the was no air conditioning, it was hot, they tried to keep the patients cool with the fans you find in your home, that can’t be healthy spreading gems back around, bathroom was dirty when I got there. There was one TV in the room for four people The doctors and nurses during the day were very good. The nurses at night not so good. The food was disgusting the smell of it made me sick. I only ate applesauce. If they had not released me I was going to check myself out. I was there for there for two days and it seems Ike two weeks of hell. I have lupus and have frequent stays in the hospital I never want to be sent to that hospital, I changed my insurance the next business day so I never have to experience that again.

Listen to all the negative reviews, they are all there for a reason. Very convenient for the staff to have ac and fans next to them and In their hallways but at the rooms full of 4 patients they dont have any ac or fan at all rooms are very hot , some nurses are very polite but the rest of them starting from the security personnel at Lobby they should at least try to tell them to be a bit friendly. Looks like if they don't want to work there. Also they kept telling that patient had to be seen by the doctor which never appeared to check the patient in 3 days. If your insurance or medical want you to go to this place I'd recommend you look for another option.. This place is horrible. Update. We had to complaint about how hot the rooms were. So We got a fan for a room with 4 patients. Update.. Also stop with the automated replies with the appreciation Of the reviews if you wont do a thing to fix the issue that seems it's being going for a while.. the place socks and no effort to fix the problem

Worst. Hospital. I’ve ever. Been in. The communication is below abysmal, the misinformation is absolutely staggering, and not a single individual has the same answer as their colleague to the simplest tiny little questions. The amount of mistakes made were downright dangerous. Our experience was HORRIBLE & when they wanted to finally discharge, they fulfilled zero of our requirements. The doctor came in and talked over us the entire time, didn’t let us get a word in nonetheless our extensive list of questions or aftercare and recovery. We were left in the dark most of the time, and it seems like the management of the hospital left everyone confused and doubtful. We did not feel safe here. A couple CRNAs were absolutely lovely, however. Angeli (whose name no one else got right - her colleague included), and Ro were wonderful.

My personal experience was horrible. The place seems to be understaffed, the nurses hardly came around even when the call light was pressed. I was there for four days and never saw a doctor once only the nurses. I was told initially the doctor was out for the night, I was transferred there from MLK in the late night early morning hours. Then after asking about results for labs and other things multiple times I finally was told they don’t have doctors on the weekends. Monday came and went as well as Tuesday still no definitive answer! I was in for severe reactions/burns to my hands and feet. Was told the minute I arrived that wound care would be checking on me to treat/wrap the wounds not once during my stay did anyone come to do such. I literally had to do it myself with help from my wife. I complained about the position of my iv which was inserted incorrectly and it took days before someone finally checked it after realizing the problem. There was an older gentleman in the room with me who was a fall risk, his bed alarm would go off if he got out of it. Multiple times he got up to use the bathroom and by the time any nurse came to check he was already comfortably back in his bed.
