Great tamilian food and more! We ordered the chicken thali and chicken65. The kottus were great(one was like dal palak). The chicken curry and parotta was delicious. The appalam was nice and crispy. I especially enjoyed the rasam with crushed appalam. The rose milk was very good for dessert. The thali could have had a few more things like banana chips and a fried chilli! We also got some north Indian food. Specifically the butter chicken and the garlic and cheese naan. This was surprisingly good. I loved the garlic naan. Butter chicken was not authentic but was very tasty and loaded with cream. Service was very good. I asked for some things non-spicy and the staff was very helpful and obliging. . I would rank this above ID cafe and kolapasi in the city. 10/10 will be back.

Weβve been here 4 times now, and itβs easily become one of our favorite Indian spots to eat at. Most of the dishes weβve tried have been delicious! Our favorite appetizer so far has been the Chicken Monica definitely a must-try. The Pepper Chicken Curry and Paneer Pepper Masala were okay in terms of flavor. They were very spicy and leaned more towards a strong peppery taste rather than having a lot of depth. If you enjoy that kind of heat and pepper-forward flavor, you might really like them. Apart from that, the service has been 10/10 every single time. Thereβs a gentleman who always takes great care of us (we unfortunately keep forgetting to ask his name), but his service truly stands out. Weβll definitely get his name next time! Overall, a great spot with delicious food and excellent hospitality.

Excellent food. Service could be better. The mutton kothu paratha was the highlight for me. It wasn't like anything I've had before. The mutton wasn't ground, but minced into small pieces. We also had the biryani, chicken appetizer and masala dosa. Flavors were on point. The Irani tea, chai, coffee and mango lassi were delicious too. No complaints on food. Cooking style is from the Kongu region of Tamil Nadu. We were able to easily get a table around 7pm, but the longer we stayed, the more crowded it got. You'll have to wait to get a spot the later you get there. Service started off good, the server took our order quickly and food came out lightning fast (like within 10 minutes of placing the order). Only gripe was that they didn't clear our tables until we left. Our plates were clearly empty. I guess we could have asked them to remove it while we were sipping drinks but its one those things every other restaurant does that you take for granted. I would still highly recommend.

Went here for dinner and had a great experience. The Kongunadu non-veg thali was really good with an impressive variety of dishes, definitely worth trying if you like sampling different flavors. The highlights for me were the vethalai payasam and the fish curry, both were excellent. The Pallipalayam chicken was top notch and easily my favorite. Also, a shoutout to Guru for the great service, very attentive and made the whole experience even better. Would definitely come back!

Loved the mural at this place , it instantly reminded me of Malgudi Days. The wooden panels and plants add a nice warmth making the space feel cozy and thoughtfully done. The service was impressively prompt. Our food arrived barely minutes after ordering. I also appreciated how attentive the staff were, even team members who werenβt directly handling our table stopped by to check in, and see how we were doing. Went in not knowing that kuska biryani is really the fragrant rice part of the biryani, so when they realized our confusion they sweetly offered us mutton biryani instead. There was a thaali type of meal that we had ordered (the name escapes me at this moment), which included a lot of dishes but sensibly served in manageable portions so that you can taste your way across the menu without feeling committed to just one dish. Perfect for curious eaters. The mutton pallipayam was textured and absolutely delicious! Would have easily been a full 5 stars, but taking one star off because we were first served mutton biryani instead of chicken. That said, they replaced it in no time, and handled it so gracefully that it barely took away from the experience. This place deserves many mo
