One of the best spots to see the Hollywood but it's full of people and cars. That kinda ruins the experience as it's bit of a car ride and a long hike to the park just for it to be ruined by finding no parking and many people around. I came here twice and the best one was at night time around 9pm few cars and people around and can still see the sign and the city lights. If you come at night best to come in a car 🚗. But over all wasnt too bad but if you do come to Lake Hollywood Park come as soon as they open beat the rush. Food vendors also on sight selling fruits and Agua frescas.

Getting here was quite straightforward using Uber. If you're planning to hike the Hollywood Sign trail without your own vehicle, you can save this location as your pin. The Uber dropped us off here, and we walked all the way up to where the cars stop—at Mulholland Hwy, which seemed to be the trailhead where no cars pass anymore. There are apparently three trails for the Hollywood Sign hike, according to YouTube and Google: Innsdale, Cahuenga, and Canyon Lake. We chose the Canyon Lake trail. Since this spot is basically the Uber drop-off point and the trail’s start, it’s a bit disappointing that there are no restroom facilities here. We ended up having to pee at the Griffith Observatory at the end of our hike.

The perfect spot to have an impeccable view of the Hollywood sign. Parking could be tricky...try to arrive very early in the morning. There is parking enforcement roaming form time to time...so be careful not to park after the sign indicates...and also remember to park facing the direction of the traffic flow. I got a $60 ticket for parking opposite. A smart guy sells smoothies and ice cream right there...check those out...quite refreshing!

Great place to get out and grab a quick picture of the Hollywood sign, but its busy with skinny a single skinny road and too much traffic. Multiple traffic jams from single lane areas while climbing half a mile of switchbacks to get to the park. Then parking is rough.

A great quick stop and I didn’t even really stop…it was a drive by situation because I only had an hour before I had to get back to things. So, a fun Hollywood sign photo while driving a narrow road through beautiful homes…street parking and turning around was tight, which was why I omitted a star. Otherwise, a great day! I cannot wait to come back and stay to hike!
