Cars in the United States need regular servicing, and a reliable mechanic is worth keeping in your contacts. Ask for an itemized estimate before work starts, keep old parts if you want to verify what was replaced, and check whether the price includes labor, shop fees and tax. OEM parts cost more than aftermarket ones; ask which you are getting. Servicing at an independent shop does not void a new-car warranty as long as the schedule is followed.

We are so glad we found this place! While towing our 5th wheel our engine gave up the ghost. We called Jim at Leal's. He arranged to have our truck towed to the shop, and our 5th wheel taken to an RV Resort, where we stayed during the repairs. He verified that the engine was beyond repair and quoted prices for a rebuilt one. We knew the transmission was on its last leg so we added that to the scope of work. While going over the truck he found our brakes were toast too. In a terrible stroke of bad luck, the new engine came with a bad injector. He sourced all new injectors and replaced them over the weekend (even though they were closed). After some testing we got our truck back and finished our journey. Right after we unhooked our 5th wheel, the new transmission started acting up. Jim arranged to have it picked up the next day. Bad parts can come from the factory, it happens. What the shop does about it is what's important. Thank you to Jim and the rest of the crew for taking such good care of us.

Had an issue with a transmission and did an internet search and Leale's kept coming up as a highly reviewed shop. I removed my turbo 400 and dropped it off for them to take a look at it and let me know what is needed. Jim called and informed me that the torque converter had let loose and had debris all thru out the transmission, meaning a new torque converter and complete rebuild of the transmission. I received a call at the end of the week letting me know that it was ready to be picked up. Got the transmission installed and all of the work that is associated with that project. Got the fluid topped off and test drive was successful, shifting was great, no leaks and operating as it should. I would recommend Leale's Transmission and Auto repair.

I originally took my F150 to a dealer for some transmission issues. I was told I would need a full transmission replacement and warranty would not cover due to " known pre-existing issues" with the particular model. Picked my truck up and brought it here and described the problems. Tim told me he was well experienced with the specific issues, said I didn't need a full replacement and quoted me half of what the dealer was trying to gouge me for. True to his word, Tim fixed the problems, didn't try to up charge or sell unneeded services and fully explained what needed fixing. My truck runs great (@81k miles) and I haven't had any previously reported issues. From start to finish, I have zero complaints about my experience. For anyone out there having transmission issues with their F150, I would %100 recommended this place.

Dealership diagnosed with out even looking at it saying I needed a new transmission in my Ford transit 150. They wanted 10K. Took it to James at Leales and he based on my description new exactly what it was....Bad Speed control module and a small leak. Fixed in two days for way under 3K.. These guys are pros...Highly recommended.

Took my Dodge durango up here because I was having transmission problems. Now the guy Jim I spoke with was very friendly. Informed me of what was happening. Told me my only option was a new transmission. Or transmission rebuild. I truly did not want to spend $7895.85 However, they warranty their product and their work one year or twelve thousand miles. Cool, so we struggle to find the money. We get the money and make the payment. We get our car back a little less than a month later. I go to pick up my car after final payment and here's my floor board! It did not look like this when it came to them. The carpet was not pulled back. The glove box was not ripped off and laying in the floorboard. You would think after paying almost eight thousand dollars, they would at least put everything back the way it goes properly. That's what makes me upset, and that's what leaves this review. I paid them almost as much as I paid for the entire vehicle, and they can't be bothered to put a glove box back in its proper position versus leaving it on my floor........ The owner finally reached back out to me and attempted to make things right. I can say that the owner has then very cordial on the phon
