Beware!!! This is a warning review; please be careful before coming here. I don’t want someone else leaving in tears the way I did :( I asked for long layers with face framing which is a very common haircut for young Asian women, and also showed inspo pics. She started hacking away at my hair and finished within 10 minutes (which is insane given my volume and length, usually my haircuts take 45-60 minutes). She held actual scissors for maybe one minute total, the rest of the time was using a thinning tool while she was talking with other people and not even looking at my hair. When she was done and tried showing me the back, I couldn’t hold back tears. She said I should’ve grown it longer before getting it cut if I was going to ask for layers, but please refer to my before pic for how long it was. She said I couldn’t judge it while it’s not styled. Please tell me how this hack job can be fixed by styling. Then she started straightening it which made it worse and I asked her to stop. She said you’re young it’ll grow back. Excuse me??? I had a very good experience at this salon with Stacie, the owner. She provided a haircut and highlights for $80, which is an excellent and affordable rate. The staff are friendly, professional, and welcoming. I especially appreciated Stacie’s thoughtful gesture of adding coins to my parking meter when I was unable to step away. The salon is well-kept and offers a wide variety of hairstyle inspirations displayed throughout. Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality and value of the service. I rated 4 stars as there is still room for improvement in the overall atmosphere, but I would certainly return and recommend this salon to others.

Exceptional service, has a root touch up and blow dry/straight iron. One of the best coloring jobs ever, neat and no mess, great color matching and I walked out with my curly hair straight as ever. Unbelievable price too, very surprising for a big city. Will go back every time I visit.

I am not from LA and I was advised to go to Chinatown for a reasonable quality haircut. I decided to cut off 2-3 inches and have layers. It was only $20. I chose this place because of the good reviews and I was glad I did. The stylist gave me exactly what I wanted and the entire salon was super nice — including the clients. If I were to return to LA and seek another haircut, I would come back.

They have been doing excellent job since 20 years ago, I got their number because my coworker uses them since he comes to USA! Compare to others: They are cheap but great service! The shop is very clean organized, and every time I saw customers come to say thank you just passing by! You should try them: THEY ARE AWESOME! Wish them the best business forever!
