About Los Barriles
Los Barriles is an ice cream in San Jose, California. It is listed at 1650 Mabury Rd, San Jose, CA 95133, which places it among the local businesses of San Jose that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
For a place to eat or drink, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open now, how long is the wait at peak hours, and does the menu suit the group you are bringing. American restaurants typically run lunch and dinner services with a quieter stretch in between, coffee shops open early, and many kitchens close earlier on Sunday. Cards and tap-to-pay are accepted almost everywhere, a tip of 15-20% is customary for table service, and sales tax is added at the register.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 12β8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Los Barriles at (408) 401-2061; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, barrilesicecream.online.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 70 reviews, which is a strong result for an ice cream in San Jose and suggests consistent service.
San Jose is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Jose is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

LOVE the Nieve de Garrafa! They have various ice cream flavors as well as other items. They are an ice cream truck stationed on the main road, so parking is limited sometimes. No seating available. The nieve de garrafa was very flavorful and refreshing. Perfect for a hot day. I tried the pistachio flavor and loved the taste and bits if pistachio in it. We also tried the strawberry one and it tasted really good. Prices are reasonable and portions are more than enough. Definitely recommend

Disappointing..... I am shocked at all of the 5 star reviews. I was nearby and looking for some icecream. This place popped up on my Google Map search but I didn't know it was a food truck until I arrived. I figured well the reviews are good, so let's see. I ordered a chocolate and banana milkshake. While I waited the guy handed me 4 different flavors on small spoons to try. I immediately became concerned and clarified that it was ice cream. It was more like low quality sorbet. This product is not real ice cream or it is poorly made. It was flavorless and watery. I received my milkshake and appearance was great with a lil Hostess Ding Dong on top. And then immediately I could see the chocolate was syrup added in to what I assume was vanilla something. Real chocolate milkshakes use real chocolate icecream. And there was banana but it too was flavorless. At a cost of $11 this is not the quality of ice cream one would expect. I will not be returning.

Their Nuez (Pecan) ice cream is my favorite; but in all honesty... everything else that I have tried (mangonada, biΓ³nico or diablito) it's freaking delicious, so far Los Barriles has not disappoint me at all. I'm one true happy & loyal customer!
