San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Diego is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

🇬🇷✨ This cute little Greek fusion spot in San Diego’s Gaslamp District is definitely worth a visit! You can choose to sit inside or enjoy the outdoor patio, making it a great place to relax and people-watch. ☀️🍽️ We’ve eaten here before and have always enjoyed the food. This time, I gave the food ⭐⭐⭐ because one of our favorite dishes—the kebabs—was prepared a little differently. Previously, the sauce was served on the side, but this visit it came drizzled on top, which just wasn’t our preference. Other than that, everything was still fresh, flavorful, and delicious! 😋🥙 The drinks were fantastic! 🍹✨ Our waiter was absolutely amazing and made the experience even better. He recommended the Hugo Spritz, and I instantly fell in love with it! 💚🥂 He told me he discovered it while snowboarding in Austria 🇦🇹, and ever since that recommendation, I’ve ordered one at every restaurant I’ve visited. Safe to say… I’ve found my new favorite drink! 🍃🍾 A huge shoutout to our waiter for the recommendation and the outstanding service. 👏❤️ We’ll definitely be back!

I have been coming to Meze. ever since I was a kid with my entire family and as picky as we all are, they have never had a bad day in our eyes. I’m writing today’s review because last nights experience was notably even more excellent than they normally are. Antonio our main server, went out of his way to make us feel apart of this family owned restaurant. The owner made an appearance as well which is beyond appreciated, considering the fact that you don’t see that nowadays. It was my friend’s birthday and I have to say, thanks to the staff, it might have been one of her best ones. Antonio made sure we were well taken care of the whole night and his right hand man Sebastian also played a huge role in making our experience beyond memorable. Jenny our bartender, made such incredible drinks the whole night. Despite the fact that I trust the whole stuff at this point, I will make sure I return to her every time we come back to Meze. If you want authentic modern Greek food and a beautiful experience Meze is the place to go.

Feta-licious!! We started with the lemon potatoes, perfectly seasoned with lemon and olive oil, and a heavy coating of feta on top, so happy for that!! If you’re looking for smaller sizes, order off the left side of the menu. The right side of the menu has much bigger portions. My husband got the lamb chops, came with 3 (from the left side of the menu) perfectly cooked, tender, well seasoned. You want to take every bit off the bone! I got the souvlaki (chicken) kebabs, very tender and comes with fresh tzatziki and pita bread. The spice on the kebabs is a little different than standard kebabs, but still very good. The pizza was thick, not super thin so it was great! We got an order of the street corn, it had red peppers and a chili seasoning with feta, not super spicy, it won’t give you heartburn, but it was delicious!! I noticed a lot of salads around us with feta that looked absolutely delicious. It was clean here, the staff was very friendly and attentive. You will enjoy this meal!

I recently tried Meze Greek Fusion and overall had a really nice experience. I ordered the grilled chicken plate, and I have to say — whatever rub or seasoning they use on that chicken is phenomenal. It was incredibly flavorful, juicy, and honestly the highlight of the entire meal. The Greek salsa was also incredible. Fresh, bright, and full of flavor — it paired perfectly with everything and added that extra something that made the meal feel special. The service was fantastic from start to finish. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and welcoming, and the location itself has a really nice atmosphere that makes it a pleasant place to sit and enjoy your food. The only downsides were a couple small things. The rice that came with the chicken wasn’t my favorite — it was a bit too puffy and lacked seasoning, especially compared to how flavorful the chicken was. Also, the soda I received was unfortunately flat, which was a little disappointing. Overall though, the quality of the chicken, the amazing Greek salsa, great service, and nice location definitely make this a spot worth visiting. I’d absolutely come back — I’d just probably skip the rice next time.

I have been wanting authentic Mediterranean food especially at Saganaki and I definitely found it here! Our reservation was for 4pm and there was hardly anyone inside. The server came by and offered us water and was more than patient enough with us while we talked and looked over the menu. The server was so kind to us and they kept coming over to our table and refilling my water even though they gave us a pitcher on our table The inside was so well decorated and beautiful inside. And when the sun went down, it was even more gorgeous with the lights inside. We ordered the Shrimp & Ouzo Saganaki. The server brought it out with a beautiful presentation, talked usbthrough whaybshe eas using, then had us say "Oopa!" The shrimp was fresh, a little hard to cut but might have been a bit over cooked from the skillet it was on, and the feta cheese and tomatoes on it also pared so well with some nice char after she set it on fire. It was served with Pita bread that actually made me pretty full quickly. For drinks, I got Watermelon Spiritz Mocktail because it had redbull in it and it was a bit tired, the drink really clashed with all the ingredients inside of it, the mint inside mixed with
