The team at Millwick was exceptional throughout our wedding experience. Clare and Galen were highly responsive, addressing our concerns promptly and demonstrating great flexibility with our requests. The venue itself is both beautiful and inviting, and it comfortably accommodated our 140 guests with ample space. The only drawback was the required valet service, which added to the overall cost. However, this may be justified given the venue’s location and the emphasis on guest safety, further supported by the presence of on-site security. Overall, Millwick exceeded our expectations and proved to be an outstanding choice for our wedding venue.

As a digital and analog film hybrid photographer, Millwick is hands-down one of my favorite downtown LA city venues!! If you’re a couple looking for that perfect aesthetic that feels equal parts industrial, tropical, vibrant and eclectic, this Marvimon property is a total masterclass in indoor-outdoor hybrid design. Once you're in there, you feel transported into a super intimate, secluded space that's colorful and chic. What makes Millwick a dream for photography—specifically for film enthusiasts—is the sheer variety of textures and light. The moody, Hollywood-style bridal suite is tucked away like a private oasis, and the lush, vertical garden courtyard provides a stunning contrast to the Grand Hall’s gold ceramic walls and exposed brick. It's fun to capture both natural light, as well as direct flash photos for a really dimensional wedding gallery. For my couples who value more of a storytelling, documentary approach, the surrounding Arts District is unmatched. We can slip out to the nearby colorful murals for a playful, editorial feel, or take a short walk to the 4th Street Historic Bridge for those iconic, sweeping Los Angeles skyline views. We had our wedding here, and all the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. There were also many great partner vendors, which made everything so much easier. The large screen gave us so many possibilities—it was perfect for playing videos and photos throughout the event. It didn’t feel like a typical wedding venue; instead, it felt like getting married in a beautiful, natural garden. I think that’s what I loved the most about this place.

As a wedding photographer, I have photographed at many many venues in LA. Millwick stands out among the rest for its modern and unique decor, the seamless flow for guests, and the amazing staff that are super helpful and cool! It is such an amazing spot to get married at in the heart of the arts district! You are literally transported from the grimy streets of DTLA to a tropical, light-filled, super cool oasis. I highly recommend couples to this venue and I can't wait to shoot another wedding here soon :)

I recently photographed a wedding here and it was stunning! The venue feels like a tropical oasis your guests can walk into and enjoy. All of the natural light flooding in is amazing. The space feels like the perfect combo of it's own thoughtful stylistic details but still gives space for you to bring in your own touches and design your wedding vision. We popped out to the arts district for photos nearby and having that option is great :)
