San Francisco is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Francisco is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Iβve been to Mission Ink twice now. The first time a few years ago to get a βCourage The Cowardly Dogβ tattoo in color from Guilherme, and I returned recently to get two nostril piercings from Jake. My tattoo experience with Guilherme years ago was an awesome experience. Heβs genuinely nice, knowledgeable, and heard me out on minor changes I requested. Out of all the tattoos I have, I get compliments on this one the most. My recent experience with Jake was also extremely positive. I had both sides of my nostrils pierced 10+ years ago and had a poor experience both with the artist and the outcome of the piercings not (visually) aligning. Jake not only heard me out, but did severallll checks before we agreed on the placement. He was also kind enough to write down the specifics of the current jewelry and next steps for follow-up care. The shop itself feels super clean and everyone Iβve interacted with there is extremely helpful and friendly. I cannot recommend Mission Ink enough.

this is my third time to Mission Inc. This trip was different. The front desk staff was not very welcoming. He also replaced three piercings for me. The next day one of the piercings came out out of my left nostril.& i almost swallowed my lip piercing because the stem was too short. The only welcoming vibe came from the Latino male who smiled and welcomed in.It was a different vibe this time. I wonβt be going back.

My friend was in the city visiting and on a whim we popped in to see if they had time for a walk-in because she wanted her septum done. Jake welcomed us in, was super professional and obviously very good at his job. My friend had trouble with septum piercing before because of the shape of her nose and septum, and he was able to work with her anatomy to make a piercing that looked really straight and fit her face so well. Then we both got earlobes too. He was quick and smooth with it and the whole thing was practically pain free. Cute little shop right in the heart of the mission.

Absolutely amazing experience. I got my tattoo done in July. My artist was Ariel, and they were very kind, patient, and listened to me ramble. This was my first ever tattoo and I was incredibly nervous but they listened to me yap away. Was willing to work on sizing, placement, and re-printing the stencil. barely hurt at all and took around 2 hours. Incredibly sanitary, quick, and painless. My tattoo was 200$ before tip (amazing price). Pics shown are fresh, and 6 months healed. I will be back for another tattoo soon!
