From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and professional. They made the entire experience comfortable and enjoyable. The optometrist was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain every part of the eye exam thoroughly, answering all of my questions with patience and clarity. They also have an excellent selection of glasses, with a wide variety of stylish frames to choose from. Their pricing on both frames and lenses is very competitive, offering great value without compromising quality. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for exceptional eye care and outstanding customer service.

I had a great experience at Optom-Eyes and couldn’t be happier with the care I received. The office is clean, welcoming, and very well run, which made my visit smooth from start to finish. A special thank you to Marlen, who was incredibly helpful, kind, and professional. She took the time to answer all my questions and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. It’s clear she genuinely cares about patients and goes above and beyond to provide excellent service. Overall, I highly recommend Optom-Eyes for anyone looking for quality eye care and a friendly, attentive team. I’ll definitely be returning.

Very disappointing experience. I had an appointment scheduled at 3:00 PM, and I even called ahead to let them know I was on my way. They told me they would wait for me. I arrived at 3:12 PM after crossing the border in a wheelchair, which is not easy and takes extra effort and time. Despite explaining this to them, they still made me come all the way in just to tell me they needed to reschedule my appointment — something they could have easily told me over the phone. What made it worse was the lack of empathy and poor attitude. There was no understanding or consideration for the effort it took for me to get there. I showed up rushed, tired, and trying my best to make it on time, and still received cold and dismissive treatment. I’m not asking for special treatment, just basic respect and human decency. I would never recommend this place, especially to people who have to work harder just to get to their appointments. Management seriously needs to address how customers are treated. I had a fantastic experience at Optom-Eyes Mission Valley today! I was impressed with the attention provided by the optometrist. She explained the whole process and answered all my questions. I'm so glad I chose this location. From the moment I walked in, all the staff were incredibly friendly and professional. A huge shoutout to Optician JC, who was amazing! He took his time show me their inventory until I found the perfect pair, he made sure I felt comfortable and not pressured during the selection. JC & the optometrist really went above and beyond. The rest of the team is also very welcoming. If you need a thorough eye exam and great service in San Diego, this is the place to go!

This place was amazing. They had a doctor that was phenomenal; however, they got a new guy. Looks like right of if school. Nowhere near as thorough as my previous optometrist and he gave me an eyeglass prescription that is way too strong. I can’t even use them without getting nauseous. That’s not the bad part. I went in to renew my contacts. This guy convinced me to get glasses first & get the contact this year. I went in December 30 something. So, I thought cool he’s looking out. Call today to order the contacts & he didn’t do an exam for contacts too???? What, that’s what I went in for. Long story short I had been with this place for almost 7 years and now I’m forced to find another competent optometrist 🥹
