Horrible experience. Went to dinner for an hour and was charged $80. This place is a scam.

I would strongly recommend that non-residents avoid parking here. I was staying at the Marriott and was directed by the valet to park here for self-parking. At no point was I told that this garage is not affiliated with the Marriott or Residence Inn. There are also no clear signs indicating that it is independently operated, making it easy for hotel guests to assume it is the hotel’s self-parking garage. As a result, I was charged $70 for just two hours of parking. Even more concerning, had I left my vehicle overnight, the total would have been approximately $480. Those rates are extraordinarily high, and without clear disclosure, the situation feels very misleading. To make matters worse, there is no ticket dispenser, assistance button, or readily available customer support if you have questions or need help. Better signage and clearer communication—both from the hotel and the parking operator—would help prevent other guests from making the same expensive mistake.

Do not park here, it is a scam! I was charged $70 for parking on a Saturday from 4:10 PM to 9:19 PM for an event.

Credit card as ticket? Goodbye to being able to validate parking. Worse, the card that easily got us in failed to get us out. Trapped in the garage, calling for help with the button meant waiting on hold for 15 minutes with grumpy people behind me. The machine then rebooted (it runs on Linux). Finally the call was answered after it was still in the booting up process. We were let out by the attendant that answered the "emergency" call without having to pay. That was the only positive thing I can say about it. Avoid this garage.

While it was a little less expensive than Solomar's daily rate, you won't have in & out access to the garage. Only park here if you won't need your car for a significant amount of time. After 2 days, I bit the bullet & parked at the hotel for 50/day. Also, walking in & out of the garage as a pedestrian is not really safe. Elevator smells like an old Denny's that used to allow smoking indoors. It is a convenient location to the ballpark, restaurants & shopping. Not the worst smell of Gaslamp Quarter though. Don't really recommend unless there are no other options.
