San Jose is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Traffic in San Jose peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

i wanted to like this place so bad. it has good reviews and this salon is much closer to my house than the regular place i go to which is in sunnyvale. i get that they were busy but it felt like my nail tech was in such a hurry. i also made an appointment so it wasn’t even a walk in. when she was shaving off my last builder gel set she was so rough that it was painful. i’ve been doing my nails for years now and i know it’s not supposed to hurt 😩 i paid for an extra $10 for cuticle care and i was left bleeding on multiple fingers (see pics below). she did my cuticle care in the beginning so fast but i could see more dry skin around it but didn’t say anything hoping she’d see it. eventually she did see it after the color, chrome, and top coat was on. she took it off dry and was pulling so hard it hurt really bad. at this point i wish i didn’t ask for cuticle care. my fingers are still stinging. I kept flinching from the pain and she kept going. i had to draw my hand back a couple times for her to get that she’s being really rough. i’m not the type to complain during it because i get so shy and anxious so usually i just try to endure it, but i really couldn’t this time. upon further

I came in Sunday with an appointment for a builder gel fill manicure and gel pedicure. It was my first time in there and last time. I didn't get my technician's name as she didn't introduce herself. My services were very fast. Less than an hour for both. I was so disappointed with my nails: filed unevenly, the matte top coat was streaked, and not very matte at all. I went home and filed my nails myself so they were even and the shape I asked for. Come Monday, I get out of the shower and my thumbnail is gooey - the gel did not cure. I was leaving for a business trip so I had no time to return to the nail salon. So disappointed to have paid $160 only to fix everything myself. Long story short - unless you have a trusted nail tech there, don't go.

Disappointed with my experience today. My gel manicure was completed in about 30 minutes and felt rushed from start to finish. The advertised 3 mins hand massage was not really provided — it was just a quick lotion application. The nail shapes are uneven and not consistent in length. Each nail looks slightly different instead of uniform, because Daisy never asked what shape I wanted. There is also a visible line on my middle nail that shouldn’t be there with a gel manicure. The pricing online was not accurate compared to what I was charged, which was disappointing. Overall, not the level of quality or care I expected.

I had been going to Pinko off and on for the past couple years. For the most part I've had great experiences with the ladies that work there. They do pedicures really well and every technician I've had have been good. They are a small shop but do really great work.

i used to LOVE this place. this has been my go to salon whenever i am home and it’s where i recommend to all my friends as well. i went back a couple of days ago and i normally never post a bad review but i felt like this was bad enough to where i should say something. the nail lady’s name is Niki. I do not trust her and this was the worst experience i have ever experienced. i normally get gel x with extensions but this time because of work, i got builder gel on my natural nails. i have NEVER in my life had such a bad job done, its chunky looking, super fanned out, not painted well, and the they are so so thick and make my nails look like i got my nails done for free. it felt like the lady was not experienced in using builder gel at all and blamed the “thickness” on my nails being too short but i have had much better nails done everywhere else with this length so that is not an excuse in my opinion. i spent $80 and also tipped because i love this salon but later regretted it when i called and asked for a full refund. they asked if i wanted to get my nails done again for free, but i saw with some reviews that it would be a coin toss of if it would be done better the second time aro
