Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Los Angeles is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This is a great theater, especially on Tuesdays, when the price drops down to $7.50 (if watching special media, there is a small surcharge). Parking is free for 4 hours. I like taking my mom here so she can read the Korean subtitles. They also have cushions if you have a back problem or if you have children. The General Manager greets everyone in a suit... Very professional and respectful.

I was puzzled by some of the negative reviews, because I’ve been to Regency Koreatown twice now and had very positive experiences both times. Likewise whoever this one single "negative" employee is, I don't know because I've never encountered them. But for the reviewers giving this place a "1 star" simply for this is simply an inaccurate review and largely feels vindictive. So, I'd say to that reviewer, chill out and try to make a more representative review next time. To the management, if there truly is an employee with a bad attitude/service, then yes, address it. But from my multiple times having gone to this location, I have never met this one "terrible" employee (so, maybe I'm simply "lucky.") The staff I interacted with were helpful, friendly, and courteous. The theater itself is also surprisingly clean and well maintained β€” the lobby, hallways, auditorium, and bathroom all looked much cleaner than many other theaters I’ve visited recently around Los Angeles, Orange County, San Bernardino County, and Ventura County. The screen was large, the sound was strong, and the overall presentation quality was very good. Parking is another major plus: validation gives you up to 4 hour

I am leaving this comment because I don't want anyone else to go through the same thing I did. I got to the L.A. K-Town’s Regency Theatre at 12:30 pm and bought in the kiosk the ticket for Star Wars at 1 pm. Soon after I got inside the complex. All of a sudden an out-of-rage female employee approached with a bad mood and kicked out the people who were in there saying, β€œWhat are you doing in here we are not open yet!!!” We were all thrown off by her bad mood. I answered her β€œWe are in here because the door was open and besides there was no sign showing the complex is closed. She didn’t even listen and kept treating us as intruders and kicked us out. I asked her You should have a closed sign or lock the door. She alleged the opening time is on the website and we should check it before coming to the theatre… I didn’t buy the tickets online, I got them in person and the movie time was at 1 pm. And it was already 12:36 pm when this employee kicked us out. We were approximately 20 people standing outside the complex waiting until whenever this employee felt comfortable to open the theater door. This is a really uncomfortable experience. I deeply hope no one else has to pass through the s

This female staff member has been rude every single time I visit this movie theater. The service is terrible, and she always treats customers with an arrogant and dismissive attitude. I even pay for parking just to come here, yet it’s very disappointing to experience this kind of behavior. It’s hard to understand how an employee like this is allowed to treat customers so poorly, especially during difficult economic times when businesses should value their customers more. As a customer, would anyone want to come back to a place where they are treated this way? I believe the owner or management should seriously review their employee training and attitude. Continuing to pay and employ staff who consistently show such rudeness toward customers reflects poorly on the business.
