First time trying Rise Up BBQ, and I’m officially a returning customer! I was craving Dino Beef Ribs which are difficult to find here in S.D, so I ordered three of them, plus a half-pound of brisket and two bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers to enjoy at home. Everything was absolutely yummy—zero complaints and staff friendly.

Excellent BBQ! The beef ribs were tender and full of flavor, the brisket juicy and delicious, and the collard greens and candied yams tasted homemade. Great portions, friendly service, and definitely worth the stop. I'll be back!

Some of the Best Barbecue I ever had & am very picky when it comes to food Great service definitely recommend it can't wait to go back .

I had to come on here and leave a review. Chef Ty catering my entire family party. I needed this day to be special and he made it happen. We had Cajun brisket, Beef ribs, Tri-tip that Pulled pork, those Cali Meat Rockets, the hot honey roasted carrots, Cajun Mac and cheese and the jambalaya was off the chain. I highly recommend this spot. Choose anything on that catering menu. Oh and the bbq sauce is really good. I got extra extra extra of that

"Rise Up BBQ is hands down one of the best BBQ spots in San Diego! From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed with great customer service and a friendly atmosphere. The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The meats were tender, juicy, and packed with authentic smoky flavor, and the sides were just as delicious. You can tell they put a lot of love and care into everything they serve. Whether you're a BBQ lover or trying it for the first time, Rise Up BBQ is definitely worth the visit.
