OVERPRICED! Some items are priced more than new retail. Almost every item I looked out was cheaper elsewhere. Example Presonus Studiolive 32SC sells new for $1352 free shipping. Used at $999 free shipping now. This store trying to sell for $1499. Fender Roland Guitar sells online $725, this store $1049. Waldorf Quantum 61-key sells online $2995, this store sells with a busted screen for $3299. Roland JSQ-60 $200 online, $299 here. Basically almost anything you buy you can be overpaying and get worse condition. They already gave someone a very low amount for the item and now trying to take advantage when selling it too. Worker was friendly, but that won’t make up for crazy prices more than brand new.

If there was something less than one star that I could give you these people I would they are the most expensive pawn shop in all of San Diego and they have zero customer service. You will be lucky to get your item back. If your good with excuses, whining and crying and being overcharged this is your pawn shop. I highly recommend you DONT PAWN BUY OR SELL with this store, you will DEEPLY regret it.

Excellent customer service! The store keeper (Steam name: Fluoride) was kind enough to chat with me about airsoft and guns for an extended amount of time, even though he knew I was unable to purchase a firearm (I was traveling from overseas). He also let me take photos holding a FG42 and a Mosin Nagant! Not to mention, they have a wide variates of firearms to choose from so if you are a gun enthusiast, this shop is a must visit. They also have a lot of other cool vintage electronics. I eventually got a great deal on a Sony 5-303w Micro TV from them! Would love to visit them again when I visit San Diego again!

Royal Pawn is awesome, I’ve been going here for a long time and they have amazing gun selections that are always rotating to even more awesome guns, if your looking for self defense, hunting, tactical or collectibles this is the place to go, they have new and used guns and items, also* get your Firearm Safety Certificate . As a pawn shop they do more than just guns! They have jewelry, watches, tools, guitars, bikes and E bikes, collectibles, gold, oddities and more. Shout out to: Ken the owner is awesome and I’m glad that there’s a place I can trust and want to buy from with good prices along with his knowledgeable staff- Ethan, Matt, Talana, Ulysses, Merk and more that have helped me learn so much about guns, gold, knife collecting, scopes, calibers and a lot more from y’all - I will be a forever customer! If I could give it zero stars I would!! I called before asking if they had loans on firearms…answered yes…I said I have a bunch can I bring them in…they said yes…I come in…greeted…state why I’m here for loan on firearms…they ask me to bring my firearms in I have 4 long arms and 5 pistols that I’m carrying into the store…set my things down in there for less then a minute didn’t even look at what I had and told me $1000 bucks….i walk out pissed off and no help getting out either 🤣🤣 no common courtesy whatsoever at this establishment
