I had an absolutely wonderful time on the Seaport Village tour with Charlie! He is incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many fascinating stories. It’s clear he is a passionate San Diego resident—he loves this city, and it shows in everything he shares. As a bonus, he even took a group photo for us, which was a lovely touch. On top of that, Charlie even sent us a follow-up email with fantastic restaurant recommendations. He truly went above and beyond. I can't thank him enough for making this experience so special. I had such a fantastic time on Isabella’s tour of the San Diego Gaslamp Quarter, downtown sightseeings, and the embarcadero village! She guided us through the different district’s highlights with incredible energy, charm, and passion for her city. Every step of the way, she kept us hooked with fun facts and unique details that brought the history and culture of the area to life. From the splurgy origin of the term “sugar daddy” to the hidden party basements under pubs (once used for disco clubbing and even underground food truck pop-ups), Isabella made sure the tour was full of surprises. I loved learning about the Emerald Building and its jewel connection, the Horton Hotel’s Austrian-inspired design, and the San Diego Convention Center’s architecture inspired by a wave breaking over a cruise ship. Her storytelling was so engaging that the city felt like a living, breathing character itself. Isabella’s enthusiasm is contagious, and she truly makes you fall in love with San Diego all over again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city (or even locals wanting to see it with new eyes). I can’t wait to read her book when it’s published, if it’s anything like her tours, it’ll

I like the concept of a “Pay What You Wish” Walking Tour, and our guide Tana was knowledgeable, friendly, and had some great recommendations for food and activities. Our group was on the smaller side, so she was able to share her local perspective and the history she shared on San Diego architecture and people was very interesting!

Isabella, thank you for a fun and informative 2.5 hour walk through the streets of San Diego. You are a San Diego native gem, complete with great stories, enthusiasm and energy. A fountain of historical and local knowledge of your city, you are outstanding at sharing and caring. We had a great experience with our tour guide, Isobel! She was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, taking us on a 2.5-hour walk through the heart of San Diego.
