San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Diego follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Overall, we had a good stay. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable, and both the pool and the amenities are fantastic. However, one issue worth mentioning is the housekeeping service. We stayed for 5 nights, but our room was only made up 2 times during our stay, even though we never put up the "Do Not Disturb" sign. For a hotel of this category, we definitely expected daily room service.

Stayed Monday through Friday. This is a nice location right off the highway and very close to other big beaches and SeaWorld. Pros: resort is a good size, easy to get around, options for on-site eating and a coffee shop if you don't want to leave the resort, pickleball is free, easy to rent surreys, great trail around Mission Bay, staff was generally nice. Pool towels always available. Cons: room smelled absolutely horrible like mold and sewage, I complained at the front desk to have someone stop by and no one ever did and never followed up, we kept the patio door open when we were in the room to air it out. This resort is not luxury, it is merely average, like a hotel. Everything is outdated. It is heavily advertised to families so be ready to dodge little kids absolutely everywhere. We were there with teens, but I would never choose this place for quiet, romantic or calm vacation. Pool is very very busy. Prices at the coffee shop are digital and change everyday. I asked why, they said it was for rhe price of coffee beans which seems strange since all coffee shops don't randomly change their prices daily.

My husband, 4 year old son and I came to stay at this resort for our 10 year wedding anniversary! Can I just say what an amazing place. It did not dissapoint. The Concierge, Katie was awesome! She was very helpful and super nice. She surprised us with a nice card and bottle of wine to celebrate our anniversary. Can't wait to come back and have her help us with more adventures. The outdoor bartender Steve and poolside server were also awesome! Great drinks and food! They were very friendly and helped direct us to some good local restaurants. We highly reccomend this resort. Overall great experience! Thank you all, The Simpson Family!

It's centrally located which was super nice. Really easy and fast to get onto the freeway. The who place was clean and the people working there were extremely welcoming. Now the negatives. Granted I went in the off season but nothing was open. The website claims several restaurants and bars on site. There was only one restaurant open the entire week I was there. They also, let a company reserve the game room/lounge one night so we couldn't use that. The giant pool is also not heated so it was extremely cold to use. The biggest negative of all was the toilet paper they provide. I had to go buy my own roll because their TP was just painful to use. It was porta potty quality. With all that said, we had a great time and I'd def recommend it. I just wish they were a bit more transparent with what will be there during our stay but it was still a nice spot. Just go on the summer it'll be better.
