Very disappointing customer service experience at the Padres merchandise store. After the game, I visited one of the stores inside the stadium, but they did not have my size. An employee told me to go to the main store downstairs because it might have more options. When I got there, the staff would not let me inside, even though several other customers were still shopping. It was also about 20 minutes before the posted closing time. Instead of politely explaining the situation or trying to help, the employees were dismissive and extremely rude.

Can someone, for the love of all that’s holy, please post the actual store schedule? It’s incredibly simple customer service, but apparently, even upper management doesn’t bother to use their brains. The store closes three and a half hours before the game starts. Not a single place to find this information, not even on the MLB website. And phones? Do they have people answering them? I drove over 30 minutes to discover that the store was closed because of the game. We arrived at 1:45 p.m., the game was scheduled to start at 5:40 p.m., and we were still unable to enter. They told us to wait 45 minutes for the trailer to open, but then their system was not working. The employees were unhelpful and had a terrible attitude, as if it was our fault. What a disgraceful way to treat your customers and fans. Do better, Padres!

The team store is great, don't get me wrong. I like to make Opening Day a Holiday in my house and buy the family new swag. Prices are high, I get it, but the $.0019 plastic bag with hundreds of dollars worth of merch that I left with was a shame. What happened to the nice paper bags with the SD logo?? I guess I'll have to go back and see if they carry wrapping paper.... Service was great. Merch storage was rubbish.

Picked up a few things to bring as gifts to family in Minnesota. Hope they like. Only MLB store we could find while visiting San Diego. Bought a cap and a tshirt. Nice that they offer military discount. Star was helpful. Clean. Lots of choices. Lots like located in a historic building .

YOU’LL NEED an MLB SALARY to buy from here… it’s pretty pricey at the Padres’ Team Store. The cheapest jersey starts around $180 and it’s not even authentic, but a replica version. Additionally, some of the store items are kind of taking from other teams, I saw a rally monkey with long limbs (but brown) just like the Angels’ rally monkey, did someone say rip-off? Lol. Also, I wasn’t felling some of the hats or shirts. Green and Brown is a bad combo I’m sorry to say. This isn’t to say the store didn’t have anything cool. I did find a city connect SnapBack hat that was a decent price. Actually, I LOVE all the city connect merch, it’s such a cool line with a fun 80’s aesthetic that it totally fits the Padres vibe. I bought a city connect SD pin and a couple of other pins for $10 bucks each. Again, everything was too pricey but I had to buy them as I’m trying to collect MLB team enamel pins from each park. The pins are great quality but I’ve been to other stadiums and they don’t overcharge like this store. I really liked the look of the store, it’s easily accessible from the street during normal business hours and is easy to find during game days. I went on a game day and the line wa
