Santa Fe Depot is a beautiful historic train station with classic Spanish-style architecture. Even if youβre not taking the train, itβs worth stepping inside to admire the high wooden ceilings, colorful tiles, and old-fashioned design. I used public transit from here and found it very easy and convenient. I took the Blue Line Trolley to Old Town, then transferred to Bus 30 to La Jolla. Buying a ticket was simpleβjust tap your credit card when boarding, and youβre ready to go. If youβre visiting San Diego without a car, this is a great transportation hub. Itβs clean, easy to navigate, and a good starting point for exploring the city. Highly recommended!

I got off the train after a long train trip and the men's restroom was locked. There was a long line as the Surf Liner had just arrived. It led to a very unpleasant, uncomfortable situation. I love the classic old style of the terminal, and realize there is a vagrant problem but Amtrak and the city of San Diego needs to do better.

As a visitor from Mexico, I found Santa Fe Depot Station to be extremely convenient. Itβs a great transportation hub for getting around San Diego or making connections to other destinations. One of the best things about the station is its location near downtown and the Gaslamp Quarter, which are easily reachable on foot. Clean, organized, and easy to navigate.

A Historic place worth museum. I dont know why they maintain it as railway station. A brilliant architecture to be praised.

This is a very nice, beautiful and historic train station in San Diego. The building is nice, the staff are friendly and helpful, and overall it's a great experience when traveling through here. Even if you're not taking a train, it is still worth coming down here to photograph and look at the old building.
