San Francisco is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Francisco follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

If you’re on holiday break in SF, you seriously gotta hit up PIER 39 just to watch the sea lions. It is pure tourist chaos in the best way possible, and the views from the K-Dock viewing platforms are honestly 10/10. You can walk right up to the railing and get a front-row seat to watch dozens of these massive, noisy guys just living their best life. They’re packed onto the wooden docks like sardines—barking at each other, shoving each other into the water, and fighting over the prime sunbathing spots. It's so funny to watch their dramatic little wrestling matches and then see them immediately flop down for a group nap right after. The coolest part is definitely the backdrop. While you're watching the sea lions do their thing, you can look out past the docks and get these insanely clear, postcard-perfect views of Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge right across the bay. It’s the ultimate spot to snap a quick video or a selfie. Pro tip: head over right around golden hour just before sunset—the lighting hits the water perfectly and makes the whole vibe feel like a true vacation 🦭📸

See Sea Lion in their natural habitat. See the animals climbs to the wooden platform from sea take rest and then go back to sea. Watch them doing friendly fighting, push each other out of the platform.

Came here to see seals and we certainly got what we were expecting. There were lots of them and you can easily find spots to watch them at leisure. Visited on a weekend and it was definitely very packed but we still managed to find spots to watch the behaviors of the seals jumping onto the decks and pushing other seals out etc. No ticket purchase required.
